"Extremely horrible experience with ordering online during sale! Order was placed on Nov 18. Today is Dec 22nd. I didn’t receive anything! 2 customer support chats for 20 min each! 2 customer care calls 40 min and 15 min each. NOTHING! The people on the phone are clueless, nobody can’t tell you anything! But beggining of the problem is when you receiving the email confirmation that your order has been sent and after a week you checking the tracking number and it says that order actually never been even picked up! Because guess what - the items are out of stock! How can you “ship” something that is not on stock and send the shipping confirmation email! LIE! Then in the phone we are doing adjustment to the order to make sure that all items are on stock, I’m receiving the email confirmation again and guess what - same story! What waist of time! What are unprofessional people, system and all company itself to put customers through this hell for the hand soap lol. What a joke this business is! Shame! "

"I ordered a gift card on the 13th. Let me say that again, a GIFT CARD. Original arrival date was the 23rd. I just today got a notification it shipped. A week later. And new arrival date is the 29th. "I’ve ordered off them on a online sale on 29 of December it’s is now January the 24th. I’ve wrote numerous emails and called them on several occasions I was lied too by every single one of them. I have a feeling I’m not going to get anything after reading all these reviews. Which I wish I had seen before I purchased from them. I spent a little over $100. They are now “launching an investigation” reason being “it could be lost in transit” which is a bunch of bullsh*t and we know this now. I’m so ****! "I usually place my order on line but this time I was having a problem with shipping and handling. Called in to customer for help. Agent tried to take my order got it wrong and instead of canceling it and starting over he hung up on me called back 2nd agent instead of canceling hung up on me again. Will never shop there again…."
"I'm at a loss for words for a company that used to be my happy place. If you need any sort of customer service, it's worse than my store experience. I have been a customer for about 25yrs. I am 58yrs old. I have never had to contact customer service until now, and boy had I known before!! I had a horrible store experience. They have 0 customer service AT ALL and I was lied to on live chat. I was treated horribly over asking for a bandaid over a broken candle left on the sales floor I cut myself on, that I DID NOT BREAK. I am on blood thinners. I had to practically beg for a bandaid!! I emailed, never heard a thing back. I messaged on Facebook, still nothing. I live chatted where I was told I'd receive a $50 gift card for the situation, yet the representative never even asked for my email I realized after getting off chat.
This company does not care about it's customers, in store and out. I'm at a loss for words a company so big would lie, let alone not get back to me over an experience that happened in one of their stores. Please beaware!"

"I ordered 19 candles 6 on Black Friday & 13 when they had their huge candle sale I have not received any of them. I ordered 6 on November 27 2020 and I still haven’t received any of them I contacted customer service 3 times had to wait 30 mins each time because they kept hanging up on me & that was the supervisor. Luckily the 3rd time a nice gentleman got me over to a manager who unfortunately refunded me for the Black Friday order. However now I’m missing some Christmas gifts. & then the second order the one I bought from the candle sale still haven’t arrived and I’m worried because if I don’t have those then I have absolutely have no gifts whatsoever. Some of the candles were for my mom who is going through chemo because peppermint is recommended to mask the smells that are unpleasant while being treated so I got her a ton now I’m so sad and not sure if they’ll even refund me at this point "

"Why it should take weeks to ship one candle in the year 2020 is absolutely ridiculous. Even more disappointing is they make you pay $5.99 to have the items delivered via Snail Mail. That's NOT okay! Let me ask you something "Bath and Body Works", how is it possible that I can place an order from an independent Etsy seller and receive it in two days without paying any shipping fees??? Meanwhile, the big corporation with tons of resources, can't figure out how to get my order processed and delivered without a charge and major delay. Super frustrating."

I normally shop at the bath and body works store in my local mall but due to the Corona virus I am unable to do so ! So I thought I could place an order online and pay with my money ! I spent $100 dollars of my hard earned money and you canceled my order because of unusual activity! How can you assume it’s fraud! This is discrimination! The representatives probably looked at my name and assumed it was fraud ! That is very insulting! I should be able to spend my hard earned money as I please ! This is horrible customer service ! And good luck trying to get through on the phone to TALK TO ANYBODY. I just want my stuff. Guess I should have gone into a store. "I would write 0 stars if I could. Bathandbodyworks has gone wayyyyyyy downhill. I used to order online from them but NEVER again!! In a nutshell, I placed an order on 11/25 and never received my order but they charged me the $46.10 for 15 bottles of hand soap. I spent many phone calls with them and all they said it is that they'd send out only half my order bc they sold out of my other items. Ok fine. So I received half my order but they NEVER credited my credit card for the missing items. This HAS TO STOP people need to take a stand that Bathandbodyworks is stealing from their customers. It is now 12/24 and with no credit received. Upon calling bathandbodyworks they promised me a full credit but haven't even received a half credit. I WILL NEVER BUY FROM BATHANDBODYWORKS EVVVVER AGAIN online or in store. Youd think they'd have top notch customer service for their already overpriced soaps. DO NOT BUY FROM BATHANDBODYWORKS AND TAKE A STAND AGAINST RUTHLESS BUSINESS PRACTICES AND UNETHICAL WAYS TO STEAL FROM CUSTOMERS...."
