"The battery on my laptop stopped holding any kind of charge a week and a half before a big exam. I had to have a working battery in case there were any power issues during the exam so my laptop wouldn't die. I found the battery I needed on BattDepot and opted for the overnight shipping. It arrived before lunch the next day and so far everything works great. The price appeared reasonable compared with other online options and there were plenty of shipping options available. "Terrible - this was one of the worst online purchase experiences I had. I ordered the product and attempted to cancel my order within 10 minutes of the purchase. I left a message on the 'chat' on the site, sent emails to all available email addresses, phoned 2 different 800 numbers and a direct contact number at my own expense. There was no person available to talk to at any number, I was able to leave a message at one of the numbers. I received no response, the battery arrived 3 days later.
I am considering filing a report with the BBB as this was fraudulent advertising based on the stated online cancellation policy."
