"Like other reviews below, the good ones are about price and shipping speed. Well the price is obvious. The bad reviews are about customer service. Since their prices are cheap, so are their products. Don't expect any customer service from them if something fails. As per another review they will barely acknowledge your existence. Same thing happened to me on an order only 45 days old. As per their own shipping costs (high), they know it is cost prohibitive for you to send things back to them for 'possible' repair. They are expecting you won't. Buy from them if you live in Richmond BC. Otherwise avoid them."

"Because I can’t stay home during the day, I’ve asked BattDepot to ship a battery on UPS since their office is close to my house. Oddly BattDepot sent it on FedEx, which is ridiculously faaaar from my house and getting to there costs more that the price of the battery. I asked BattDepot to take it back and resend it on UPS and they agreed provided that I pay the shipping fee again, very unfair! When the battery went back to them they did not let me know and when I knew that I asked them to get the extra charge and ship it again to me on UPS. Awfully they ignored me completely! Finally I asked them to return the battery and give my money back. They returned to my only about 58% of the amount I paid. They are lucky that I don’t have enough time to sue them. I HATE BattDepot!"

"I ordered two batteries for two different laptops. One would not charge and the other would not work due to manufacturing defect. I decided that I would not reorder but wanted a refund. It cost me postage back to them and did not receive my full return for an order which was supposed to be "free shipping". I had to pay for original shipping for the defecive batteries. This place does know what "customer service" is. I will never buy from them again."
