"I ordered a Titan Tape to MP3 Converter with cassette to PC USB. I was not completely satisfied with my product. For one, the product did not do what it said it would do. As I tried to convert my tapes to MP3 format, my computer gave me an error message so I was never able to listen to my tapes in MP3 format, nor save them as an MP3. So needless to say, I wish that Ben's Outlet would have mentioned what type of system/computer that this product would be compatible on. This is important information that would immensely help out the buyer, so that they are not stuck with a product that doesn't work. I wish I could get my money back, but I didn't keep the packaging it came in, unfortunately.
Updated.....I recently heard back from Ben's Outlet, and a representative contacted me. They credited me $10, because of my problem, and they she was very helpful, in finding a solution to my problem. Therefore, though I previously gave Ben's Outlet less stars to begin with, now that they have shown me excellent customer service I change my score to 5 stars. "

I finally got my merchandise and it was exactly as it was described and worked perfectly. While my experience as described below is accurate they did contact me and admittedly they had shipment issues and apologized. Because of this I raised my rating to three stars, they seemed to at least care. If this will improve is unknown at this point so I can't raise it further than that. But I was impressed they called. I may give them another chance.

BE INFORMED! My experience with Ben's Outlet is very similar to many I now have read here. If you accept these facts buy at your own risk.

Yes while the price was good they say online that they ship quickly and that is an out and out lie.

I ordered on 9/21 a Friday, so I expected it to ship the following Monday or Tuesday. In reality I got an email saying it shipped on 9/28 and got a tracking number. OK. not as fast as they promise but not horrible. For another week I kept checking UPS to see where the box was, they only said they got information about the box but not the actual shipment.

The reality is UPS did not get the package until 10/3 and as of 10/5 it is only in Mississippi. I had written to Ben's via their website, like so many, no reply.

I am assuming the box will come within another week and the product will hopefully be fine. In fairness, if so, I did get a good deal. But I will not likely ever buy from them again because they obviously deceive you into thinking they are responsive to shipping and responding to emails. They do neither of things well.

If you pay with PayPal or a credit card then you have recourse and if you don't get your merchandise, go to them for resolution. As consumers we need to do that.

But if you are reading this and the other reviews you can't say you weren't warned. Of all of the good reviews I read none of them talk about quick shipping for receiving customer service response.

They took over a month to say they shipped, and then they provide a tracking number with no named shipper. The tracking reports delivery, but that is absolutely false. No way to reach them. "Stay Away!! This company is a complete rip off! I placed and order and they immediately billed my Paypal. I got no information as to when it was to be shipped out. I sent them several emails. In the last one I told them if I got no response I was going to file a claim with Paypal to get my money back. No response. I went ahead and filed my claim, Paypal did an investigation and refunded my money. If you HAVE ordered from them and have not gotten your items I STRONGLY suggest you make every effort to contact PP or whatever Credit Card you used and get a refund and NEVER do business with them again. Also warn ppl about them. Their Facebook page gets MANY negative comments which they remove constantly. Avoid Bens Outlet unless you like to be stolen from."
