"Sent wrong items on one order, charged me and never sent the items with another order!
First order:
They had a special on colored computer mice. I ordered a Red one for my daughter (to match her computer), and a Blue one for me. The color was part of the item description and verified in multiple spots during the order process, so I figured there would be NO way they could get it wrong. Well, they did. Several *weeks* later a mismatched pair of *used* Grey mice were sent to me. They had sold out of the Red and Blue ones, never updated their site, never contacted their customers, and felt it would be "good enough" to just send whatever they had lying around to me. I contacted them and they told me they simply didn't have the mice they advertised.
Second order:
With another order, they charged me for it, but never sent it. I checked my account page and they had DELETED the invoice. I still had my copy of the invoice and order confirmation in my email, and the money was STILL gone from my account. I contacted Ben's Outlet and they told me that the order never went through, and that my bank may put a hold on the amount for 24-48 hours. Well, it's been TWO MONTHS now, and the money is still gone from my account. They told me I should contact my bank regarding it! It's been over 45 days now, and I can no longer dispute the charge.
I feel so stupid for dealing with them again after they messed up one order. I'd stay away from this company."
"Very disappointed that I was charged for the item, a significantly large amount, only to be emailed approximately 20 days later to tell me my order was cancelled due to item out of stock and that I would be refunded but it could take up to 3 days to show up in my acct. so basically it took them 20 days to figure this out while they already had my money to use for that long and nothing more than an apology like it's common practice for their business."

"3/20/2012: I've had the exact same experience as others with a purchase of a laptop on 3/2/12. Received the same response to shipping inquiry including tracking number and as mentioned, UPS has never received item for shipment as of this date. I requested they cancel my order and refund my money. If there is no notice of cancellation within the next few days, I will file a fraud complaint with the Florida Attorney General and dispute the charges with my credit card issuer (I have notified Ben's of my intentions.)It seems to be obvious that higher priced transactions go unfulfilled...I guess they are using our money while we wait endlessly for our orders...Not a reliable or trustworthy merchant for sure!!BUYER BEWARE!!
Update 3/29/12:
After sending an email to Ben's notifying them that I had filed a dispute with my credit card issuer, I received notice from them on 3/26 that they canceled my order because they were 'out of stock' for the item I ordered. Hmmm, after receiving a number of emails indicating they couldn't cancel my order because it was being 'processed'. A refund posted to my credit card account on 3/28. Would not do business with them again!!"
"I ordered a Motorola XOOM Tablet. Very slow shipping. Problem is it is not a US model and was to be sold in Asia. Motorola US will not update the software, and wants nothing to do with it.
Bad seller. Actually I feel very used and ripped off. This is a Grey Market item, not for resale in the US. "
"SIMPLY PUT .... STAY AWAY IT'S NOT WORTH THE HASSLE. Product ordered and two weeks later it hasn't been shipped. Was told it was shipped with a tracking number that UPS has no record of. Rip Off Rip Off for sure. I assume they figure the customer will not follow-up with their credit card companies and the hassle when the dollar amount is below 25.00.
