Poor Customer Experience

"The Daytona Beach FL Best Buy store is the nearest store to my home, although it is not close by. I have enjoyed shopping at Best Buy in the past due to product selection and associates willing to help. That all changed today when I called the Daytona Beach Best Buy. The recording stated they weren’t accepting calls.....not accepting calls???? why do you have a phone number listed on your website??? Has Best Buy now decided they don’t want to speak with customers, or answer their questions???

In this time of Covid recovery, I am surprised that Best Buy has decided to ignore customers who are obviously interested in doing business with Best Buy.

You have lost a customer and have earned a scathing review on social media.

"I was lucky to pick up this desktop at best buy on sale and man is it the best , so smooth , quiet, blazing fast, all of the components are name brand quality. I am a best buy elite member so I received it with free shipping in about two - three days. There really is no negatives except the pics show optional RGB fans across the top , so I will purchase separately. thank you cyber power and best buy for creating this supreme gaming desktop for the price, I would not have been able to do it without your help the rtx 3070 alone would have cost me out of the game "

"Everyone at the store was very helpful as to which PC would be good for the games I was going to play. They informed me that an i5 processor isnt the best for fast paced games, as well as it only had 8g of ram. I was able to order one off their website and it came the next couple of days"

Best Buy Clearwater, FL - Happy Town

"first went to the Clearwater Best Buy on April 20 to purchase a specific USB cable, one that I am not familiar with. The computer department was quite busy, I could see that. I chose what I thought to be the correct one but wanted to verify that with an associate. I found a rep climbing a stair/step ladder to retrieve something from the overhead. I tried to ask him and was told "Sir, you'll need to wait. I'm with a customer". He didn't even turn his head, let alone greet me. I went ahead to the cashier hoping I had made the right choice. The cashier, a black girl, did not say a word until I said hello to her and then she still didn't say anything. She did look up at me. After a few seconds I asked her if she greeted customers and she kind of grunted hello but still didn't even tell me the total amount just 'insert your card". As I left I just took a look around the store at associates and they all truly looked miserable. Even though we knew better, a few hours later we decided to return to shop TVs. We were helped by Joey, a nice guy that had a great product knowledge and really seemed to want to help us. Against our better judgement, we were able to come to a deal for an LG tv and soundbar, a package deal to save a little money. Joey began to write the deal and suddenly discovered the soundbar that we all had agreed to was no longer available. He could sub a lesser product for $ 50 more or we could purchase a step up for an additional $ 150. We asked for the manager and after a wait Dane(?) appeared and would only repeat what Joey had said even though the deal had been offered by Best Buy and accepted by us.. There was no budging. While Dane was still there we asked if we could speak to a different manager so they called Brandon. When Brandon arrived he simply tapped the screen of the sales monitor and left. The guy didn't even look at us. This is the third time in eight years that this Best Buy store and tried what I call "bait and switch" tactics with us, that's why we were reluctant to come back. First was an iPad, second was a phone. The final ending to this story is we left after about an hour of trying to purchase what they had agreed to sell. They missed a $ 2500 sale but we kept our money in our pocket."

Extremely disappointed

"Had an appointment set up for a remote starter repair and backup camera installation. Received a call on appointment day after waiting at least two weeks. Basically telling me that they could only do one or the other but he was very enthusiastic about encouraging me to cancel my appointment. So I did and I called the complainant line. Was told I would get a call back it’s been another three weeks of waiting and still no call back. Seems to be a culture and status quo to treat people like this set from the management team at the Spanish spring store in Reno NV. Wish we could give the auto department and that store management no stars. "
