" I bought, a Samsung Washer and Dryer pair from Best Buy about 4 years ago. The washer died within two years so when I replaced it I decided to get the protection plan.
Promptly two years later the 'new' washing machine broke in the wierdest way. The washer would rinse an spin and rinse and spin and rinse and spin in an endless cycle. Regrettably, by the time we caught it doing this our water bill was already about $300 above normal.
Enter the repair phase. When I bought the plan they didn't tell me that it was subject to change at their discretion. I thought I was purchasing a replacement policy. That changed that. According to the new policy they won't exchange an appliance until the same part is swapped out 3 times. Thing is, at the rate they swap out parts it would likely take several years to swap out the same part 3 times. I had 7 different 'Experts' in my COVID Free home on 9 different occasions over the period of 2 months before they finally gave in and offered to exchange the washer.
Now that exchange has been rescheduled two times and counting. I've been out a washer for far too long not to mention the xtra $300 on my water bill.
This experience has been so frustrating I can only tell you this is the very last time I purchase a large appliance at Best Buy. It seems the stuff they have is designed to die within about 2 years and they are apparently not very eager to honor their warranty. "
"Got an oven that didn’t even work and the people came in to fix it. They said they need to order parts. Came in again the next week, said they forgot one other part, and now I have to wait until next week Friday for them to probably say the same thing. Never buying from best buy ever again. "
"I gotten use to Amazon and online orders and forgot about Best Buy. Not only did I get the PC I've been looking for, I got it ahead of schedule that they promised. The workers were friendly and helpful and cheerful. The process was quick and easy to pick up. A quick scan of my barcode, a check on my ID and I was out the door with them asking if I needed help. I forgot just how much customer friendly it was to go to a store. "

"The day of delivery I received a call from the delivery person regarding my washing machine to tell me that the machine had a large dent in the back so did I want the machine with dent or a new one? I told the person that what I wanted was what I bought, a new washing machine? I asked them when they would have a new undented one? They told me that they did not know that I would have to talk to the "office". The "office" told me that if I accepted the dented machine I would get a rebate of $100. I took the dented machine and surprise surprise, no rebate! I have tried to contact with them with no success so the conclusion is that this company is a ripoff. There are plenty of other places with better prices to buy so my advice is "buyer beware" this is not a good company!!"
"Purchased a Jabra Talk 25 Bluetooth HS BL exactly 1 month ago- used only 3 times - item stopped working. Best Buy's Return and Exchange Policy states 15 days on most purchases and 14 days on devices that can be activated and cell phones. Therefore, I now have an item that has no value since it doesn't work. I would say, buyer be ware - this Corporation is out to just make a profit (even on defective merchandise) and does not care about the customer or customer service. Please do not shop there and give your hard earned money away. I was in retail for 30 years and defective merchandise was ALWAYS a return or exchange."
