"I must say I was worried when I first heard about them.... I was thinking, "Why is this company not requiring a deposit of the Full Price of the item? Where is the catch?" Well there wasn't a catch and the rental went exactly as it was presented. In this case, It was too good, AND it was true. lol. I rented a http://www.borrowlenses.com/product/Canon_70-200mm_f2.8_IS_II Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM II for about $125 for 3 days , which included a return shipping label, and the $14 insurance.

I had read reviews and their rental procedure, and I knew that because they don't require a full deposit, there are a few steps to go through to first time renters. So I wasn't alarmed when I had a back and forth responses through email where they required me to verify myself, and send a copy of my Drivers License, and the Debit card I used. If I didn't want to do that, they said I could put down the full deposit of the cost of the lens I rented, or I could have them listed on my General Liability Insurance, which as a beginning photographer I don't have.

I also like the options to "Hold at Fedex Location", because most of them close late, so once I flew into vegas at 9pm, I still had time sign for, and pick up my lens.

I will be using them again without thinking twice.
