I was in and out with my rental lens in about 10 minutes. They provided lens covers as well as a carry bag for the lens.

The lens performed great on my trip. If you're into wildlife photography or do alot of the "shooting through fence" style of shooting, this lens is pretty good for it. I almost never took it off my camera except to use my wide angle or to try it out on a different body.
