"I was searching online for the best deal on a laptop I really liked, since I am used to doing business online, I did proper research and also checked ALL of the comments here on Reseller ratings. GOOD THING I DID. Because it's true that you should learn from the MISTAKES OF OTHERS.
Long story short, I did my research to find out the most common negative feedback on Buy.com. And the trend was between items being ordered and CANCELLED because of being out of stock. Since I am not in the U.S., I was asking a relative to order it for me. But before doing so, I emailed a very simple query to buy.com's Customer support;

Again, it looks like there is a communication discrepancy. I have NO ORDER number as I NEVER MADE THE ORDER since my EASY QUESTION WAS NEVER ANSWERED.
Online shopping is risky enough, so a smart consumer would do proper research first. Unfortunately, no one was able to answer my question. But fortunately I did my research well enough.

They then put me through their address verification system, which took ages, and reported a problem that the address didnt match, though I could log into the bank's website and see the address. Moreover, they didnt know how I could send them a screenshot of the page to verify the address.
I then cancelled this order and re-placed it, with another card. This time it went through, but took 48 hours. I had originally paid for shipping because I wanted it right away, but all this meant that it was 10 days before the product was being shipped. Buy refused to expedite shipping, although the fault wasnt mine. I'll not get my laptop in time for my trip."
