When I tried to return by emailing them to get a Return Authorization Number, they never replied my emails. After numerous attempts, I finally gave up and have to keep the lousy necklace. So, DON’T EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM VIJAY JEWELRY.
Along the same line, DON’T EVER ORDER ANYTGHING FROM BUY.COM. When I couldn’t get anything from Vishal jewelry, I asked the help from Buy.com, after all, I ordered my necklace through their Marketplace. The first response from them was encouraging as shown below:

But don’t let them fool you. That is all I have ever received from BUY.com. They never returned my numerous emails on the returning of my necklace. I have been a faithful customer of BUY.com for the past 7 years and have ordered many merchandizes from them. I was really disappointed with BUY.com. If I run a business like BUY.com, I will make sure that the vendors in my Marketplace are top-notched and respectable. I will never let a vendor such as Vijay Jewelry ruin my reputation. Anyway, I have cut my BUY.com Visa card, blocked any emails from BUY.com in my 3 email accounts, and will NEVER do any business with them.

I ordered an Asus G51VX-RX05 laptop from here.
1st try: attempted paypal. within 3 days, they cancelled the transaction, and took another 3 days to return the money to my debit card.
2nd try: attempted with card itself; this time, they demanded that I send in a photo of my drivers license and my debit card (supposedly a random check), which I sent them. They cancelled my order again anyway; I talked to their customer support (who barely speak English), sent me the runaround 3 times, until I finally talked to a "Tasha Eastman", who said it was fraud prevention (which was totally contradictory to what I was told earlier), and it took them another 5 days to return the money to my account.
3rd try: finally worked out, sent it out on 8/5, received 8/12. This time it worked out; but i really don't think it should be this much of a hassle to buy something. "

"Horrible...just horrible. Do not trust this shameless bunch. Ordered 2 LCD picture frames for Christmas gifts a full 4 weeks before Christmas. After 7 days they still showed processing as their status. After 10 days of the same and after multiple ignored e-mails to customer service, I gave up and bought some from a local B&M. Tried to cancel but was refused. Finally, after Christmas, they arrived. Complained to the BBB, but of course got the usual BS from them that they were now offering my money back, so they considered it resolved. Look around the net you will find the same and worse for Buy.com. Go to Amazon instead; never had one problem with them except they sell some items for Buy.com. Definitely avoid Buy.com even if you have to pay more, the savings are an illusion with Buy.com."

"This is not the first time I have had a bad experience with buy.com.
They are unreliable and use different techniques to cover their unreliability.
With regards to this particular order I was told at the time of the purchase that they had the item in question in Stock.
I paid for the item and I am sure that my payment was accepted because I was redirected to Visa's clearing page and I put in my PASSWORD and was accepted only to receive an email from Buy.com that they needed to do a "security check" and I was asked to call their customer service.
Once the so called "security check" was over I was told that they NO longer had the item in Stock and I was to be notified as to when they would.
I was obviously very upset and decided to cancel my order.
I am never going to order anything through buy.com and recommend Amazon instead.
I think others should know about this sort of under-handed techniques sites such as buy.com use to hold on to our money until they get around getting the ordered item in stock.

"Wow. What a horrible e-tailer. Bait and switch, passing off used as new, terrible direct support. (Oh sure, if you complain here they will bend over backwards to improve their rating, but otherwise you won't get jack.)
I'll start off with the first experience. Ordered a laptop, and I contact them after 4 days since it hasn't shipped. Apparently, it's out of stock/discontinued now. Since they already charged my card, they offered a $25 discount on an inferior laptop to make it the same price. I politely told them to shove off.
Well, that wasn't a big deal. bout a year later, I order some noise cancelling earbuds to ship to one of the company owners at a different address. Okay, the address was not on the billing of the card, that's fine, I understand there might be issues there. But how about not cancelling the order saying you were "unable to contact via phone or email" when I never received a call or email at all? So I foolishly tried to reorder to ship to the billing address...oh, the item is out of stock...again.
So several months later, I foolishly thought I could trust this company again. Ordered a bunch of Jawbone headsets that were "New in poly bag". Apparently 'new' means covered in skin oils, fingerpirnts, grime, and a couple stray pieces of hair! C'mon, if you're going to try to pass off used items as new, at least CLEAN them.
One headset failed shortly after receipt, and they, to my surprise, actually exchanged it. However, not to my surprise, 3 of 4 have failed within a year, and Jawbone won't honor any warranty because the serial no's indicate manufacture dates years before actual purchase date.
Fool me thrice, shame on me, I guess. There won't be a fourth, I learned my lesson."

Buy.com purchase using amazon payment pass through was flawless, Electronica Direct shipped the item promptly and packaged well. I even called Electronica Direct to change the shipping to next day, took credit card info for additional overnight shipping charges and all was perfect. I am very pleased with the product and the purchasing experience. Recommended to a friend at work and he bought identical camera from them as well and he got his next day packaged and delivered as expected.

"Purchased a new motherboard with buy.com. Item was shipped promptly, so far so good.
The motherboard box (not the enclosing shipment box) was somewhat crushed, but the contents appeared to be ok. Unfortunately the motherboard had a flaw and after calls with the motherboard company concluded that there is a problem.
I wanted to call a customer service representative to look to replace the defective motherboard with a different model. Oops, can't do that; the only online retailer I've ever used without a published customer support #. You would think this is a fly-by-night yahoo store.
RMA process was quick and was contacted by customer service via email. Ordered a new motherboard, delivered quickly. RMAed motherboard is still in transit, so will see how the that goes.
In all, aside from not having phone-based customer service, no complaints with the rest of the experience."
