"This is the second time I have made a purchase from them using the free shipping. The first was for a 27" computer monitor, the second MP3 player case. Both times I was astonished by the speed in which I received my order. The prices were good as well. I will definitely use them again!"

"On Feb 28th I placed an order with Buy.com. I paid extra for 3-5 day delivery. On March 8th, I had yet to recieve my order. I had no confirmation e-mail and the money was not deducted from my account. When I logged onto the website to find out what happened, I was told I had no order history. I assumed the order was canceled. On the 8th, I went onto E-bay to order the item from someone else. The money was deducted from my checking account immediatley and the item was shipped that night. On March 9th, I logged into my bank account to find that Buy.com had withdrawn the money, and had sent the order. Now my bank account is overdrafted. When I called Buy.com, I was told the order was shipped and could not be canceled, however; I could return the item for a refund. I was told I would recieve the item arount the 19th. That would be fine if my bank account were not overdrafted. I am extremely dissatisfied and out $32 from an overdraft fee.

My money has been refunded, and my bank has refunded the overdraft fee. This has been very trying of me. Though Buy.com has remedied the situation, I am leary of doing business with them again.

"I am currently furious with buy.com and their complete lack of customer support, as well as their lack of English speaking representatives. I have been trying to resolve an issue with a back-ordered product and get some sort of information about when it will be available. I talked to 4 employees, 2 of which were supervisors, one of whom hung up on me and have received no answers other than 'we can put in a request.' I sincerely hope that my issues get resolved and I receive my order with upgraded shipping as I have already been charged for a product that it not in stock. In my book buy.com has committed fraud and I am never going to buy anything from them again. "

"I purchased a Samsung LCD TV. The order was confirmed, soon to be shipped, when the very same day I received an email from Buy.com that my order was cancelled because of "bad information on my order." I called to inquire what the bad information was and after a long wait, I was told that the price for the TV was listed wrong (too low) on the website. I consider this bad faith. Or perhaps this was a variation of the bait and switch technique. The price was the lowest on the internet but not excessively so. A honest business that values good customer relations would have honored the listed price. I will not order from Buy.com again and will actively encourage others not to do so. The $25 gift certificate offered as an apology is not acceptable, in fact it is patronizing. I won't be back."

"Found buy.com was at least $25 cheaper for Orion cooker than anyone else, plus offered free shipping. At time of checkout I was offered a Buy.com Chase credit card for an additional $30 savings, which was immediately credited to my order, saving me $55 + free shipping over competitors. Item was shipped next morning (placed later at night) and arrived quickly and safely packaged. Very pleased."

"I've been using Buy.Com for sometime now and have always been satisfied until recently. It seems that Buy.Com has been using third party vendors to fullfill orders. I placed an order several months ago that was shipped by Electronic Palace. Turns out the merchandise was defective upon arrival. I had to pay return shipping & a restock fee not to mention it took 3 months to get a refund.

Just recently I placed another order and the re-seller was Adorama Camera. While the Buy.Com site said the order was in stock, I immediately received an e-mail from Adorama saying that the item was back ordered. I subsequently received another e-mai stating that my order had been cancelled.

Today, I saw the same item on the Buy.Com site being sold by AntOnline. I looked them up here only to find they have HORRIBLE reviews!

What's up Buy.Com? Don't you check these vendors out before allowing them to advertise on your site. Although I've been satisfied with items shipped from Buy.Com, my last 3 experiences with your third party vendors has left me with a bad taste. These loser companies aren't helping your reputation.

"Customer Service rep wouldn't let me speak to a manager, my order was on hold for six days, I paid for 2 day shipping, only to wait 6 days for them to release my order.

Update: She told me I couldn't speak to a manager UNTIL my issue was resolved. Why would I need to speak to a manager THEN?

Update: Contacted today, they authorized my order and upgraded my 2nd day shipping to overnight. It doesn't make up for the 6 days I lost, but at least now I'm getting my item.

Update: I received a quick response and $10 gift certificate for my trouble. I am happy with the resolution. They didn't ask me to change my review, but I decided to anyway because they were helpful and apologetic.
