"I have been in sales for the past 14 years and it’s uncommon in today’s world to find companies or individuals that really make it their goal to make customers happy. I wanted to send over a quick note of thanks for how Canoga's sales team handled my purchase and unfortunate problem with a rebate.
My aunt visited with us this past Christmas and had her brand new Canon Digital Rebel XT with her. I had been thinking about upgrading our point-and-shoot camera to a digital SLR. After seeing hers and other friends recommending it, we decided to buy one. I looked online, specifically on eBay, and came across Canoga’s online store selling a 3-item package eligible for a substantial rebate from Canon. After doing some checking of reviews, I felt comfortable enough to contact them directly. The salesman I spoke with, Derek, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I asked about many things (I’m a very novice photographer) about the camera and attachments. Finally, with Derek’s help, I decided on a Rebel XT, printer, and zoom lens (that would work with the rebate) and memory card. The transaction was very smooth and made me look forward to doing business with them again.
Finally, after 3 months of waiting for Canon’s rebate (and 2 calls to ask about a discrepancy of the online rebate info with the amount I expected to receive), I got a check for $105 less than expected (and promised by Canon’s phone reps) with the rebate program. Canon, unfortunately and although I was told twice that the amount would be corrected to $285, is not willing to honor it after all.
Today I called in and spoke with Chris about my dilemma and also more questions about a lens upgrade. Although I feel that the Canon rebate people aren’t willing to fix the issue, Chris offered to meet me half way. I’m so happy that I chose Canoga to buy my camera from and truly appreciate the amazing customer service. It’s nice and refreshing to find that, yes, there are still great businesses to buy from. Many major corporations should take notes from them.
I look forward to one day upgrading my lens to a really great one. There is no doubt where I will go for it. Thank you!

Canoga camera was recommended by a friend and they had the lowest legitimate price of all the on-line stores on just about everything I wanted. "I ordered a Canon 30D body. Received box from UPS in great condition, but the Canon box inside which contains the camera was smashed on one whole side like an accordion. I talked to Derrick and he stated " This is the way they come from Canon, just send it back ". He did not seem to care that my camera was sent out in this condition in the first place. I then talked to Chris the owner who was very nice and offered a full refund including the shipping there and back. This was very nice of him. However, sending a 1.400 camera out like this in the first place was not very nice. A little crinkled corner I can accept, But this is beyond a bit crinkled ."

"Excellent service! I ordered the Nikon D200 kit, SB-800 flash, MB-D200 battery pack, EN-EL3e battery, Nikon Capture 4, and Lexar 2GB 133x CF card. I received a call the following day (Saturday) and was unable to return call until the following Monday. I thought it was the dreaded follow-up sales solicitation from one of those crooked rip-off companies, but it turned out to be a polite representative asking me to confirm the transaction with my credit card company due to the very large amount of the purchase. The battery was listed as out of stock and while I was confirming the transaction Canoga ran out of stock on the D200. Since I picked Canoga because they were one of the only Nikon Authorized companies with the D200 in stock I was concerned that the hold-up would cause the camera to get back-ordered. I received the package on Wednesday and to my amazement EVERYTHING was included on the order and it was all new, fully equipped Nikon USA equipment (I checked with Nikon) with full USA warranties. They even held the camera until I confirmed the transaction with Discover. Now that's service that you can really appreciate. Excellent job, Canoga!"
