"I bought 3 AMC gift cards worth $50 that were delivered electronically. One worked. The other two were invalid according to the theater and the AMC website. I emailed them my order number and waited since their auto-reply says it may take them a few days to respond. I have been waiting since May 16 and I even emailed once again just to give them a chance. I have dealt with them twice before with no problems. Today I disputed the charge on my credit card. I found them through the American Airlines Aadvantage shopping portal where you get miles for purchases. I am going to notify AA also so they will know what a disreputable company they are dealing with."
"My debit card was stolen and someone charged 3 separate charges totally almost $2,000! I called while the charges were still pending, hoping I could get them to stop before they were actually processed. There is no hold option; only an option to leave your name and phone number and "they'll get back to you" because your business is so very important to them. I called and left 3 messages, I wrote through facebook and 3 separate times I responded to their emails asking if my issue had been resolved. I didn't get one single reply to any of inquiries and the charges have now gone through. Absolutely horrible customer service. I will never use this company for anything!"
"What a ripoff!! I'd purchased an electronic gift card on 21st, when I ordered it said it will take 24hrs to receive an email with card information, Today is the 26th and I'm yet to receive the email.
I sent them an email, I have not heard from them yet. there is no customer service number, and the useless chatbot they have doesn't seem to understand anything.
I am never going to use them again.

"About five years ago I bought several $50 Home Depot cards from Cardpool. Recently, I was going to use the last seven cards, but most had a zero balance at checkout. On May 7th, went to Home Depot...all cards with a zero balance were purchases made online in March of this year NOT by me, one had a $50 balance, and one a $38 balance. So yesterday I go to make a purchase online with the last $50 card and guess what? ZERO balance. The card was used May 7th online to buy construction adhesive, the exact day I was there the previous week. My first suspicion: Cardpool. At one time they had good customer service, not now...no response after leaving many messages and emails. I find it really odd the May 7th coincidence. Someone at Cardpool or Home Depot stole $300 from me. So this is a warning to all people who still have gift cards from Cardpool, Home Depot or anywhere: Use them up quickly and don't use gift cards in the future. And if being a victim of theft isn't enough to make you feel bad, you won't find any help getting your money back!"
"THIS IS A SCAM! DON'T TRUST THIS SERVICE!
I sold 4 different types of gift cards on this site over a week ago and the website still says the order is under review. I called customer service 5 times with in a week and emailed them 3 times and still haven't received a response. "
"Wish I could give ZERO stars. Filed a complaint yesterday after selling a gift card to them over a month ago with no payment returned to me. I tried several times to contact their support team but they do not respond to e-mail inquiries and there is no valid phone number for them. I believe this is a scam. They've had over 60 BBB complaints filed in the past 12 months. I would not recommend anyone use this service. If you have with no response/resolution, you might want to consider filing a complaint. Also check your bank account/credit cards for unauthorized charges related to them. Absolutely, astoundingly terrible. Cardpool needs to follow through or be shut down for false advertising. "
"I ordered two gift cards, never received them and no response to any emails. They are a scam organization."
"Have used Cardpool for years with no problems-even had a card with a 0 balance and they took care of it right away. However, apparently they are now only concerned with selling cards and not backing up their 1 year guarantee. Purchased an Express card for a Christmas gift and when my daughter in law tried to use it recently, it had a 0 balance. Wrote to Cardpool and received their polite immediate auto reply that they would get back to me in a few business days. Okay, good....so while I was already on the site and planning to take my daughter to a movie over the weekend, I purchased a Regal card. Tried to use it 2 days later and it was invalid. Contacted them about the problem and got the same auto reply. That was 3 weeks ago and am still waiting for replies regarding both of the invalid cards. Have written follow up emails 3 times and had no replies. Found their phone number on GetHuman and left a message. While their machine promises a call back, I never received one. Needless to say I will NEVER use Cardpool again. Hope my story helps keep someone else from getting scammed."
"I ordered a $70 target gift card which had $1.91 on it. DO NOT USE CARD POOL. They have not responded to any of my messages. This website is a SCAM!"
"I turned in 3 Nordstrom cards and was suppose to receive an Amazon gift card for them. They took the cards and never sent me anything. I've emailed several times and they won't respond. They have a phone number and it just goes to voicemail. I've called that and they won't respond there either. "
"I consulted one review site which listed Cardpool as a recommended option for gift card exchange. Site was probably run by Cardpool. Lost $100.00 in gift cards with no instant Amazon exchange. No response to e-mails. Total scam. I believe they’re headquartered in California. The State attorney general should investigate these guys for wire fraud. "
"Bought a card that doesn't work. Send emails with no response. Zero communication. Purchased a Wayfair gift card that is unusable. First and last time using this company. "
"They stole 100 bucks from me. Took my gift cards but never delivered on the exchange. Never received my Amazon gift card. There is no customer support. Email will go unanswered. Don’t be fooled. Total scam. They should be shut down. "
"AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. No telephone customer service possibility, e-mails not answered. Gift cards "delivered" (and credit card charged) ONE WEEK after order."
"I used Cardpool on Feb 25th, 2019 to exchange an Apple gift card for Amazon store credit. I have read the reviews, checked the value that I would be paid for my $200 card and proceeded to the transaction. Cardpool said that the credit will be ready in a couple of days but I am now writing this on March 20th and NO CREDIT! Worse still, Cardpool does not respond to my emails. Terrible customer service. I don't recommend. Avoid."
