"We were excited when we found a couch that looked just like the modern ones from more expensive stores. That the couch was pretty is the only compliment I have for it. If you're just looking for a statement piece that looks nice, then great. But if you're looking to actually sit in it, this isn't the brand for you.
Other reviews listed this couch as firm but still comfortable. It is FIRM, like REALLY FIRM. If I put a thin pillow on the floor and sat on it, that's how it felt. Maybe it would've softened over time, but I didn't want to sit on it for more than 10 minutes.
Do yourself a favor and order a fabric swatch before you order - the fabric is sort of felt-ish and pet hair gets stuck onto it immediately. It feels like it will be static-clinging in the winter.
We also had a difficult delivery experience, but that itsn't paramount to the couch itself since they use a third party for delivery.
Overall, I feel like we fell for a targeted instagram ad. We boxed it up and issued a return the next day. "
"The sectional I ordered came just as I ordered it. It's beautiful and extremely comfortable. So comfortable in fact, that after easily assembling it, I fell asleep after only 20 minutes of sitting on it for the first time! The shipping company was very communicative, and the couch came to my door on schedule. The velvet has so far been easy to clean with a lint brush, even with two cats. I couldn't be happier with my purchase at Castlery."
