"Cellhut had a great price on a phone and shipped very quickly. Things went south when the phone was faulty and I needed to exchange the phone. I had to email multiple times to receive an RMA number and their receipt of the phone was never confirmed. I tried to call and email multiple times for the ship date of the replacement phone and finally got a notice saying the phone was "repaired". The phone was rebooting randomly so I doubt it was fixed. No tracking number or mention of the exchange. Then today, a few weeks from sending the phone in, I got a notice saying my money was refunded. That is the positive, the downside is I have been waiting for a working phone now for over a month. Summary - nice prices but poor service."
"I placed two separated orders on Dec 9th 2008. Each order was for one Plantronics Discovery 645 Bluetooth Headset. Cellhut.com charged my Amex card the same day although they do NOT ship my orders that day yet???
They emailed me two tracking numbers the next day indicated they will ship it Dec 10th , 2008. However, usps tracking numbers clearly show that they NEVER received the packages from Cellhut.com until today Jan 1, 2009. I had called Cellhut.com but they said they canceled to many orders and they need time to collect information about all the canceled orders before they can refund it to me???
I will NOT buy anything from Cellhut.com again.
I wait until next week for the refund to show up. Otherwise I will call Amex to dispute these charge and notify the FTC.

"DO NOT BUY FROM CELLHUT!!! I placed an order on 11/20/08, When I didn't receive it by 12/3 I emailed inquiring when I could expect it, on 12/4 I was told it had shipped that day. Ten days later, On 12/14, I still had not received the order. I inquired about tracking information and received no response. On 12/15 I emailed again, twice, and still no response - so I called customer service and was told there was a communication problem and my order had not been shipped because they were out of stock. No one bothered to contact me to let me know. I was told (on the 15th) that my card would be credited the next day or Monday. When it had not been done on Monday, the 19th, I emailed again - but, no response. On 12/24 my card still had not been credited. I tried and tried to get through to customer service but got no answer until the 29th. When I finally got to talk to someone they said to check my account on Monday, 1-/05/09, it should be credited by then. I said that was not good enough and I was told "I would just have to bear with them". This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had ordering online! The customer service is horrible!

"Bought a GPS and went through the same BS as everyone else. They didn't want to sell the unit at the price listed. Had the unit for $105 a few days ago so why should the orders be cancelled?!?!?
Still waiting on refund...and phone takes FOREVER to connect to a representative (who sounds like the same person everytime)...

"Placed order an for a GPS at an excellent price on Sunday night. Website said in stock and ready to ship. No updates for 2 days. Credit card was charged on the spot. E-mailed to ask what was going on. Got a generated response telling me to call in for order details. Called, was on hold for nearly 15 minutes. Rep told me item was not in stock and order had to be cancelled and I would be refunded within the week. Few minutes later I get an e-mail saying my order was cancelled at my request.
I checked the website and the item is actually still in stock, just at a higher price! Did they just cancel my order because they felt like they could make more money by raising the price?
It's now Friday, still no order status update (still "In Process"). No attempt made to refund amount. Called in, on hold for 15 minutes again. New rep, completely apathetic, slurred speach. Tells me, and I quote, "Naw we don' even deal wit dat company no mo'..." I ask when I could expect the refund. He says, and I quote, "Uhhh... I'd say... Uhhh... give it like... 'till Wednesday next week"
This company lies to it's customers, engages in unethical business practices, and offers no remorse. Avoid at all costs. Deal with a reputable company even if it costs more."
"I placed an order with cellhut.com on Dec. 14 for mio c230. Order was processed and then canceled by Cellhut 4 days later. They sent us an email stating that our order was "canceled at our request". This just 4 days before Christmas. They said that the item was currently out of stock, but are showing on their website that it is still in stock although for a higher price. When trying to contact cellhut by phone, you are immediately placed on hold before even talking to a representative. The first call I was placed on hold for 15 minutes....someone then picked up and hung up immediately.... called back... on hold for 5 minutes and got a rep... he asked for my order number, placed me on hold for 10 minutes, and then hung up before even talking to anyone. Called back thrid time and have been on hold for over 30 minutes. This is a dishonest reseller that should not be trusted. horrible customer service. I will be writting a report with the BBB as well. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALER."
"There are so many negative reviews of this website, that I'll get right to the point. Do NOT do business with these crooks! I purchased a navigation system on the website. The website status showed the normal procession of status through "order shipped". Next thing I know I get an email stating that my order was "cancled per my request" and to email or call customer service with any concerns. I tried calling and was on hold for 33 minutes before I gave up and emailed explaining that I DID NOT cancel my order. The following day I received an automatic response to my email stating that for the best service, I should call with my concern. So I called and was again on hold for over 30 minutes, never ever reaching a human being. This place is a complete sham; I'm actually a bit scared that I gave they my credit card info and have called my card's security department to be on the lookout for charges from this company."

"Cellhut is awful. Customer service is horrible. I ordered an item on 12/8, expecting to get it by Christmas. I emailed on 12/10-no response. I called on 12/11 and was told it would ship the next day. I called 12/12 and was told it would ship later that day. I called again on 12/17 and was told that the item was no longer available. Cellhut made no effort to contact me. I was very frustated. I asked to speak with the customer rep's manager and was told he didn't come in for a few hours. The customer rep (John, #202) was very unfriendly, rude, and unhelpful. John gave me the number for his manager, Mike Mathais, which led to a general voicemail box.
I don't have anything good to say about cellhut. Do business with honorable people-avoid cellhut.

"Why is there so much fraud in this industry? I think because we want to believe these prices aren't too good to be true. My phone arrived without a back case. If I were to use it, the battery and the SIM card would quickly fall out. I tried to resolve this amicably (1) Called customer service on 12/9 and after 11 minutes on hold was told I would be shipped a replacement. Didn't arrive. (2) Called again on 12/12 and after 26 minutes on hold was transferred twice and then disconnected. Tried again that day and gave up after 11 minutes on hold. (3) Final call was on 12/16, was on hold for 28 minutes. The rep said she was checking with her manager, and after six minutes of being on hold, hung up. Never got a call back, of course. I should have checked the ratings on this site and at the Better Business Bureau first! Buyer beware.

"Never, ever buy from this supplier. Customer service and response is non-existent. I have zero faith in this company based on repeated and persistent delays and excuses. I received the phone in good order on 10-17-2008, but it was incompatible with my son's network. Returned the phone for refund on 10-21-2008 but the return was refused even with clearly marked RMA on box. Resent 10-24-2008 with RMA and was accepted on 10-27-2008 at 9:27AM by P DOSHI at Cellhut. I have called every week since the return was accepted and have been given excuse after excuse as to why my refund credit less restocking fee has not been processed. I have spoken to so many service people that it has become an unbelievable event. Last service promise for refund was given by a guy named Shiraj in returns dept. Appears that the attorney general's office for State of New York is also well aware of this company and their operations. They quickly transferred me to the proper department and provided complaint forms for filing. If they are on the radar of the Attorney General's office in their state of domicile, then I think it would be a good idea to stay away! Wish I had checked boards like this before making the purchase. There is a common thread in the complaints about this company. Take notice!"
