"Gave this company a try, for the most part it was alright. First leg of our trip to Myrtle Beach was great. Sadly the very last flight of our trip was booked as a bus trip, with out confirming with us if that was what we wanted. With the bus trip being listed under the airline name instead of the actual bus company name, we didn't catch it until we were on day 2 of our trip. The problem with the bus trip was that we got into Newark at 12:30 and we're supposed to sit until 3:00 to board a bus to travel to Lehigh Valley international. It is only a little over an hours drive between the 2 destinations, our layover would have been longer than just renting a car and driving. Which is what we ended up doing after several failed
Attempts trying to get customer service to call us back. Clearly their agents need some training on the proper way to confirm all aspects of trips with their clients. Wasn't a horrible experience but we will never use them again"
"The experience was GREAT! Denise (Emp#712795) was very professional, knowledgable and kind. We had dates in mind and she provided us information. Then she asked "if I may, would you allow me to suggest some other options"? She saved us over $2000 per person by being more flexible with dates and 2 stops instead of 1. WOW! Everything she said happened that way, from telling us we would receive a confirmation phone call to the email confirmations, and it all happened like clockwork. Hopefully when you plan your next trip through CheapOair, you have the great fortune to get Denise on the other line. "Tricked into buying a "SAVER" ticket, when that is not clearly marked when you select your ticket. Then was told I had to pay an addtional 60$ to be able to select my seats, that I dont even get to choose. Someone else is selecting them, but thats "the only way" my husband and child can sit together. Then on my invoice I was chaged a 35$ Infant Lap fee, I spoke with the airlines directly and they do NOT charge this fee. Was told by cheapoair it was a glitch and I wasn't actually charged that much but somehow the total price of everything reflected the same dollar amount? Doesnt make sesne? Becuase it doesnt. BOOK WITH THE AIRLINES DIRECTLY. Was told I was charged a 69.57$ service fee, not including the addtional 60$ charge I will get seperatly to have someone else select my seats.... "

That’s why I booked out. It did not say ‘or similar’.
Instead, the confirmation calls out a VW Passat or similar.
I am fine with ‘similar’, as long as it would be a 7 seater- not just any other car that dosas not work for our requirements…"

"Do not do business with this company. The price was advertised as 454.00 for two tickets. Everything is ala-cart.
By the time they were finished
with me, it went to 1000.00.
Chepoair, sold me insurance for the flight that expires the same day. Had insurance, they would not refund my tickets. Instead, they wanted to give me a credit. They were arrogant with me. I call my attorney, he suggested I stop payment, as I had already stoped payment. This company and the employee that sold me this should be out of business. You can book directly with the airlines for a lower price and no middleman.
Buyer's Beware."
