"The buying experience was great and the price was a bargain. However, less than 20 minutes after delivery, the motor on the reclining headrest of the recliner went out. When I contacted Coleman instead of hearing "I'm sorry that happened to you and we will take care of it by getting you a new chair." All I heard was that you signed that the delivery was fine. I kept trying to explain it worked fine on delivery but stopped 20 minutes later. Throughout the whole process I was made to feel that it was my fault and that Coleman thought I was lying. Coleman made me send them a video of the chair not working....how stupid!! They sent me a new motor under warranty and I had to find a repairman to come to my home to fix the chair. Coleman would only pay $100 toward fixing the chair. Lucky for me, I finally found a repairman willing to do it for that amount. I also ordered 2 battery packs. They arrived prior to the furniture with no instructions. I called Coleman and no one there knew how to charge or install the battery packs. They had me send them photos of the battery packs. I guess they do not know what their product looks like. After sending them the photos they never contacted me back about them. When the furniture was delivered we gave the battery packs to the installers who looked at them and said that they had never seen battery packs before and did not have a clue on how to install them. After trying to get to speak with a Coleman supervisor one finally sent me an e-mail where she stated that everyone at Coleman knew all about the battery packs and she did not understand why I was lying about it. Absolutely the worst customer service of any company I have dealt with. After challenging the purchase on my credit card, I did finally get the $100 reimbursement for the chair repair and the refund for the battery packs which I had to return and pay shipping out of my own pocket. In short Coleman is a great bargain basement company and if you are lucky enough to not have a problem with their product you have made a great purchase. However, if you have a problem, you are in for a nightmare! We will NEVER by anything from them again."
