"COMPUSA is amazing. I had a warranty issue with a Sony VAIO I purchased through COMPUSA. Sony had absolutely no intention of honoring their warranty (read blogs on this). I contacted COMPUSA as a last ditch effort. Through COMPUSA intervention, my laptop arrived back yesterday fully repaired by Sony at no charge. I've been a very happy customer of COMPUSA for over 10 years now, never a bad experience there. Customer service is like you really don't see any more, not to mention great prices. "
"I ordered Lenovo Notebook on 07/25/2010 and received it on 07/27/2010 very happy about fast shipping but the system crashed with virus within first 2 hours as directed in initial steps made recovery disks but of no luck on them. I called Compusa and told them the system crashed at reported them problem at 07/27/2010 at 10:15PM. they told me that it came from another warehouse and i need to wait for the RMA from their warehouse. So i waited and reported the problem again on 07/29/2010 and they are putting a request for the ware house and there is no answer. So i called back again on 08/03/05 and asked about status they told me that don't call again until 08/05/2010 as it usually takes 5 business days to get RMA from another warehouse. they suggested me to buy another product in mean time every time i called the customer care.Today is 08/06/2010 and time is 7PM EST and i think i have given enough time for them. My simple imagination is they send us defective products and they will not take it back. I think they already know the defective products and falsely advertise them and sell them away. If they can manage a big website and store like this then why the customer has to wait for their mistake. People please buy the product carefully only after reading the reviews and call the compusa number provided first before placing your order. I don't think there is anyone there who takes care of their customer seriously another than trying to selling you something.
Here is an update
On 08/09/10 at 11AM i called back asked about the RMA the CSR talked to manger and they give me RA number by connecting to lenovo customer care.why did they didn't do this before it would have saved time. Today on 08/11/10 returned the product so it will be wait and watch game for 7 to 10 days i will update the review once they return the transaction or after 10 business days on 08/27/10. So actually for a product to return it will take 30 days here.
Here is my Update
Today on 08/21/10 they credited back my money on my card my original purchasing price. the shipping costs are not included. I am OK on this side as at least they worked fast. But here is twist i purchased product on 07/25/10 debited my card on 07/27/10 received product on 07/27/10, complained on 07/27/10 but received my money on 08/21/10 minus shipping cost which i payed for nothing in my hands.
so people u read this and judge on your own.

"I initially bought Optoma HD20 projector from TigerDirect almost 2 weeks ago. At the time of my order the item was in stock "order today ship today" status. Days later I found out the item was in fact backordered, and I needed the item soon for an event so I canceled my order with TigerDirect. I found out Comp USA has the same item for same price (turns out same company), so I contacted CSR (Jose S) at Comp USA via chat session and confirmed that the item is in fact in stock will ship same day. I even told him I ordered the same item from TigerDirect and had to cancel my order because they initially told me the same thing. Jose S assured me the item will ship today. And I saved my chat session as a proof and placed an order with Comp USA. After ordering and paying extra $20 for 2nd day shipping, my credit card was processed...then I got the bad news again. The item is backordered again. Now it still says on the web site (both tiger direct and comp usa) that the item is in stock and will ship today. My guess is the item has been out of stock for weeks. Either they have the worst inventory system in the world, or they are simply deceiving their customers with shady business practice. I already contacted Comp USA, and their response was simply sorry for your inconvenience nothing we can do.
UPDATE: I called Comp USA yesterday to cancel my order, and I was told new shipment will arrive on 7/26, so I don't understand why you are quoting me 22-23rd now. In any case it's clear to me that Comp USA is not a reliable company to shop at, and I canceled my order.
UPDATE2: So it's the promised date of 26th, but they still don't have it in stock. Now they are saying Aug 2nd! At least they are consistently unreliable...."
