"Well, I thought it was a little odd that every other online vendor was out of the coolermaster atc-111 case, so I decided to call up. Of course, after reading here, I used Jeff @ x104, and he was every bit as nice as people say, telling me the holdup in the case supply was due to that strike on the coast, but that he had somehow forseen this and gotten a few extra. Well, that's cool. Anyhow, they were very pleasant to work with. I'd recommend, especially if you phone in your order to verify stock."

"Ordered an ATI Radeon 8500 128MB DDR AGP graphics card (retail box)on the internet at roughly 10 PM on the evening of Sept 10. It shipped the next day (Sept 11). I received it the day after that (Sept 12). It's exactly as advertised and it works fine."

"I made a multiple part order with 2 day shipping on the 25th of September. After not receiving an email confirmation with a tracking number after 5 business days I sent an email to their cust support. I never received a response. I called their long distance cust service number and was finally told that the delay was due to on of the items being on back order. VERY POOR keeping customers advised about delays and causes of delays in their orders."

"I called Comp-u-plus to order a Asus A7V8X motherboard and a processor. I was told that the item would ship tomorrow and that the price was $210 dollars. When I told the sales person that it was listed on pricewatch today for $159.00 dollars I was put on hold. When the sales person came back she told me that they did not have the board and that they were "hard to find". I find this to be an obscene way of doing business and not only will I not purchase from them again. (I have purchased parts for 2 complete systems in the past year there). I will make sure that everyone knows the unscrupulous way that Comp-u-plus is conducting their business"

"Bought a Visiontek graphics card; card was bad; onboard memory not working; card had a layer of dust on the underside of the fan!!!! THEY SENT ME A USED CARD!! They claim they don't have a vacuum sealer there, so it must have come from Visiontek that way. (What distributor DOESN'T have a sealer?)
Anyway, after some over-the-phone strong arming, they agreed to take the card back. We'll see if that goes smoothly.

"I just moved to a new address, placed this order even though I told my credit card company I moved and gave them the new address, the botched it up.

Karen from Comp-U-Plus emailed me and pointed out this shipping issue, her intent was to safeguard her company as well as myself.

I then replied but I called to make sure my address was correct at my CC company, it was but not for the contact Comp-U-Plus talked with.

Then I called Karen and we talked directly, mind you I got through to her in under 2 minutes... very fast.
She then helped me get to the bottom of this and conference called my credit card company.

After that was taken care of, Karen approved my order and with-in 2 hours of that call, my shipping/tracking info was sent.

All in all I was very happy, even though I had a bit of a run-a-round, it was for the best interests of all.

My only complaint is that they do have high shipping. But the make up for that in lower prices.

I will re-order from Comp-U-Plus again.

"The prices here are really competative, which is what made me shop from them in the first place. They don't have the largest slection of products, but for the ones they do have, it's always a deal. Processing and shipping was quick and easy. Don't know about their customer services - never had to deal with them, yet."

"Great company with high quality components at some of the lowest prices. I called Compuplus and they let me order my parts right over the phone and everything was shipped that same day. Everything arrived in perfect condition and I now have an incredible machine. Only drawback, like most others will agree, is the expensive shipping options, but hey, I got my parts really fast so can not complain. Worth doing business with again."

"Watch out - paying for second-day shipping doesn't necessarily get you 2nd day shipping - they substituted "Ground" for me because the carrier says it "usually" takes 2 days (it took longer, of course.) Disclaimer on their cust. service page claims they have the right to do this bait-and-switch. Beware..."

"Will not shop here again.
I have normally had good experiences
but this last time my order was charged
on my credit card but they forgot to
ship part of the order. They didnt even
notice until I called to complain.
4 days later it still hasnt shipped.
It was supposedly in stock when I ordered.
They wouldnt even up the shipping
one level to get it here soon.
It will be 2 weeks from time of order
at least before it gets here.
Very unacceptable for something in stock
that I paid 2nd day shipping for.

"My order was privy to a $20.00 rebate, but the rebate information seemed to be missing. I emailed compuplus a couple times before I got a response, and they provided me a link to their 'rebates' section on the compuplus website. Aside from some confusion regarding the rebate and a delayed response, this e-tailor seems worthy of a decent review. I do, however, have some complaints with the organization of their website.

PS>The standard shipping cost (14.95, I believe, for 2-day delivery) is ridiculous. Compuplus does not permit 3-day delivery. While this e-tailer may have relatively low prices the s/h is discouraging.
