Gene in particular called an went over my order with me the day after it was placed. He was very thorough and polite. He helped me out a LOT. There was a small problem when I got the computer home. I hooked it up incorrectly and it resulted in the bios getting corrupted. I called customer service and to my surprise, Gene was filling in for someone. He patiently walked me through every conceivable solution until we both had to admit defeat. I sent the computer back and Gene personally took charge of the troubleshooting and repair. "This was my 4th custom built PC I've ordered (after 7 or 8 big-box rip-offs) and compared to my previous experiences, this was by far the SMOOTHEST, QUICKEST, HIGHEST BUILD QUALITY & best COMPONENT AVAILABILITY I've ever experienced. 5-Stars Across the BOARD!!!

My previous 2 custom builds were purchased from Ascendtech (which actually is actually just a hop, skip & jump away from AllPCZone), both of which I thought I was getting a good deal based on price and the number of options available. Needless to say, both of the builds from Ascendtech are no longer in service, the power supply & motherboard took a crap on one of them and the other has caused me a lot headaches, most of which have been hardware related.

When comparing the 2 (Ascendtech & AllPCZone) there are some major differences:

1. Component Options/Availibilty: AllPCZone offered the latest/most recently released hardware (motherboards, processors, you name it) while the other's were at least 2-3 releases prior.

2. Order processing time from order to delivery: I received the AllPCZone build way faster than expected. I ordered it on a Saturday morning,received a confirmation call on Monday (in which I modified 2 items after discussing my build with their knowledgeable and well trained rep) and received it the following Wednesday. The other place, 10-14 days at the tops (probably explains why they have so many options...the probably don't keep much in stock).

3: Warranty: 3-year compared to 30 days? A no-brainer.

I have built a lot of my own computers, and this is the first time in 10 or 12 years that I have purchased from a vendor - glad I did. I have had the experience of putting together high-end components that mysteriously fail when used together, and buying components that should be pretty quiet in theory but are not in practice. Buying my system from Allpczone eliminates all those problems, and does it at price that is NOT significantly higher than if I just went out and bought the components.
In this case, I came to Allpczone because not only did I want to avoid hassles of building it myself, but also because I wanted a really quiet computer for my music studio, which is something I had no real clue how to go about doing. It's safe to say that this purchase saved me about 100 hours of dicking around researching and putting the right system together, and with much lower risk of strange things going wrong. Right there that's way more than the cost of the computer.
In addition, Allpczone was very accommodating: I wanted to use some SSD drives that they did not carry and they were happy to let me have Amazon drop ship to them; Allpczone took care of all the config and burn-in no sweat. Likewise I already had a license for Windows 8, and they were happy to install it with proof of ownership. Let's see Dell or HP do that (note: Dell and HP are no way in the same league with Allpczone, and it's sort of an insult to mention them in the same sentence - sorry!).
Also, when I want to upgrade this system in the future, I keep the box and ship the machine back to them for installation and re-testing. Awesome.
And when they say quiet, they mean quiet. This isn't even their super quiet model, and in my studio the sound of this machine is "drowned out" by the noises made by light bulbs and monitors (which I did not even realize made sounds until I got this sucker). Literally, a standard laptop idling on low power three rooms away is louder.
Finally, the customer service is amazing - from Gene the pre-sales rep who patiently accommodated me through a couple months of waffling to the staff who put the machine together and did post-delivery follow-up, everybody was extremely helpful and responsive without ever being intrusive.

I went through the reviews and searched for the best prices on the net before purchasing. I found slightly cheaper machines from some other merchants but felt that it was worth a little more money for peace of mind and good customer service.

AllPcZone worked with me on every step of the build. They helped me pick out what would work best for my requirements. They didn't push me toward a more expensive build and had several suggestions that saved me a lot of money. After the initial order was submitted, I changed my mind and it was no problem having changes made. They even made an upgrade at no cost to me because the cheaper component was not available and they checked with me first.

I liked having one point of contact through the entire build process and they even remembered what I was trying to do.

The machine was delivered quickly and on the date promised. The machine was packed very well and all components were secured. The outside box (double boxed shipping) was beat up by the shipper but no damage to the internal box.

The CPU was just as I asked. Every wire was in place and every component was secured. I have never had a CPU that was assembled with such precision. It really is a thing of beauty.

Overall, the same basic components probably cost me $100 more than the competitors but it was definitely worth it to have superior customer service and the trust in the company that they stand behind their machines. You could probably get lucky with one of the cheaper companies but it wasn't worth it to me when spending a considerable sum of money.
