"Second time I had AllPCZone build me a computer for recording, and I'm overwelmed once again. Fast, affordable and professional.

"I was convinced that I wanted to build my own PC with
components that I researched and selected. In the end,
two factors led me to decide to have my new PC built
rather than build it myself. First, there was a
significant amount of comfort in knowing that the
machine would be fully tested before I received it. And
second, I found that the difference in overall cost
between a "build it myself" and a "have someone build
it" machine was not significant. Clearly, there was
some level of savings if I built it myself but given the DOA rate of some of the major quality components, it simply didn't seem worth it to me.
My next bit of research was on the vendors out there that were in the business of custom built PC's. I chose Allpczone for a number of reasons. First, they weren't focused solely on Gaming PC's. I needed a business desktop. Second, the component choices were incredible. Most of the components that I had selected for my own build were available in their configuration tool. Third, they have an excellent reputation and history. Finally, they were very quick to respond to my questions and they provided some input which led me to change some of my initial selections. The sales contact, Elena, was instrumental in assisting me. It was clear based on her guidance that Allpczone was not "pushing" a build that went beyond what I needed. I was actually able to configure a machine which did not include a graphics card but used on-board video graphics capability.
Configuration was easy. The price was reasonable. The machine was ready well within the targeted timeframe. I was extremely impressed with the packaging of the machine. I arrived in pristine condition with all of the documentation and "spare parts" that came with the components (eg unused modular power supply connections). The first thing I did was open the machine and it was clear that they had taken great care in the wiring and overall build. The machine booted without incident and has met my expectations. I have had one question for their support and so far, they responded quickly. I cannot, at this point, comment further on technical support but I have no reason to believe that they will disappoint me.
Overall, this was a great decision and I'm pleased. I will be recommending Allpczone to my family and friends. "

"Wireless network card didn't work. They were supposed to send a replacement but here it is almost two weeks later and no replacement. Limited hours of support availability and long waits to get help make following up difficult for those of us who work the same schedule as the support lines. Furthermore, I have to write this review to activate my warranty. I am not happy. With the exception of the network card, the system was built to my specifications and functions as I would expect.
Followup:
Apparently there was a paperwork snafu that once discovered was corrected expeditiously. Mistakes happen, we've all been there. AllPCZone handled the matter as well as possible under the circumstances. I am confident that AllPCZone is committed to high quality customer service based on their response to this issue. Accordingly, I have changed my ratings for this seller."
"Excellent overall experience. Highly recommended store."
"Just received the new build I ordered opened and unpacked . plugged it in and it was purring along no hiccups. looks great w/ the Antec 4000 case. and almost completely silent. great job Guys and girls (Elena) at ALLPCZONE/Computer LX !!!!"
"Before ordering, spoke w/ sales desk for an hour or more asking questions. Told her I just wanted a basic sys. for checking email, surfing web, creating documents, & possibly simple editing. Asked if Window 7 came w/ basic Word software...was told "yes", it didn't.
After I ordered my sys. online, got a voicemail from the review dept. stating there was a problem w/ my configuration, but didn't state what the problem was. After several phone tags finally connected w/ caller. Inquired if I might want a bigger wattage power supply. Didn't upgrade, as I ordered a 480-watt and only had 2 case fans & a dvd on it. Think the review is more a way of trying to get you to upgrade to more expensive sys.
When building my sys. they entered my name in the registry. NO PERSONAL INFO SHOULD EVER BE PUT IN THE REGISTRY. Now I'm trying to find all the locations and erase it. Also, I had to register my copy of Windows w/ Microsoft. Kept getting a message this was a pirated copy until I registered it.
Now I've discovered I don't have a printer connection on it so I can't print anything.
Customer service hours are only convenient for eastern & central time zones. In order for me to be at my computer and speak with customer service, I would have to take a day of work.
Thoroughly dissatisfied & would never buy from them again.

"well appearently I have to post a review to activate my warranty.I did not want to act too hastily by leaving a bad review before trying to give them a chance to fix the situation. but here goes i guess.
The warranty Advertised on the Front page in large unmistakeable
characters says 3 year warranty, I suggest reading the "Tems and Conditions" page to find out what the fine print states.
I spent 2 and a half months researching hardware and software I would need to get a rig that will edit HD Video and record Music.. after alot of research on hard drives, cpu's, ram, videocards etc.. I decided to call a sales rep for their company.. Gene was VERY helpful..He helped me put together a rig that he felt would be fully compatible for $1500
and will have room for expansion(more Harddrives etc).A little over my budget but This went well.My order was confirmed on June 7th afternoon but it was a friday.being anxious I called him back by the next week to confirm but was told the comp was
still being tested? This differs from the shipping claim on the website.. and I wish they would've contacted me to notify me instead of waiting for me to inquire about it..On the 14th is when I recieved a confirmation# by ALLPCZone (Hawaii is excluded from free shipping)
so I did have to pay for it.. I would've enjoyed better communication or at least an apology letter for my inconvenience. My Post office got the package by June 26th..19 days after paying for it.. and that takes up more than half of the alloted refund guarantee period.
I plugged the PC in and I had it up and running within a few hrs. I installed all my own OS system that I've been comfortable with for a few years now, then the drivers I finally get all my programs in and start working on the first project on this computer the next day, but 1 hr and a half into video editing this thing just goes blank. After Numerous start up tries it intermittently doesnt find the SSD drive installed, I'd only been using the computer for One day, and now it goes straight to Bios or freezes on the microsoft screen if it does find the Hard drive. This computer is 3 weeks old from it's purchase date at this point,..So I call them and due to the major time difference it took me about 3 more days to get in touch with someone,I guess it cant be helped..
First Problem..
when I finally reach a real person Edward seems helpful. he tells me it may be my RAM cards and explains the troubleshooting method, I'm moderately computer savvy so I go through the procedure RAM seems to work fine, I realize it's the SSD and call him back. After telling him what I've been going thru he advises me to send in the SSD at my expense. It HASNT even been 3 weeks, and I've yet to get one project done. Mind you the actual supposed guarantee states they can refund you and add a restocking fee of twenty percent if done within 30 days. At this point I really wish I opted on that,
but ED said these things happen all the time and that he was sure of what the problem was.I just wanted my PC to works so I paid for it to get sent to them.
New Problem...
They send me another SSD and it does the same thing.after about another week and a half of trying to contact ED. i call the CS guys and they direct me to him. No answer, but he calls back and leaves a message on my cell stating if I need to speak with him here is a direct number, and if I cant get through"we dont get frustrated or upset we just try and try again." huh? I paid $1500 for something that hasnt worked from the start, a little frustration is human.Worst off If you disagree or try to correct the Tech guy his rhetoric becomes so condescending it's offensive. He then says these things dont have problems as such, yet some people who experience this type of problem may just DL firmware for it at their official site.
I did and it got even worse? At that point I'm past the warranty time and he is sure to constantly remind me of that as a rebuttal in every conversation we have from that point on, yes every convo. So I decide to just suck it up and buy an additional inexpensive HDD locally so I could at least get my projects going until I find the time to get the thing boxed and shipped out . I work a normal Job with hours that make it near impossible to get to a post office fed ex or a bank so I dont have alot of time to spare. I install the HDD and the computer starts running more normally, even though this hard drive only cost 30 % the price of the SSD bought from ALLPCZONE. No problem though I still just want to get my projects finished and have a working rig for my hard earned $1500 purchase plus
the shipping of a new SSD.
Biggest Problem...
Right before I'm about to remove the new SSD again (the very next day)
I try to turn on the PC and it does NOTHING!!changed plugs nothing, checked outlets nope, even said a prayer or two still NADA.. I literally wanted to cry out of frustration,I'm not
Rich this took me 8 months of saving plus some of my tax return to afford this, and this thing didnt work at all, No Bios, No anything, Not even an electrical hum sound when you hit the power button. At this point I call Ed again and Im a little worked up and he starts trying to make me feel like I dont know what I'm talking about. After 2 wrong diagnosis?
and sending me an SSD that doesnt seem to work,I was skeptical of his opinion on the matter,I dont know who wouldn't be..
So I tell him the NEW problem and he's finally convinced that the PC needs to be sent in to them, at my expense..I admit that was VERY upsetting news. After some heated conversation I finally get him to agree to paying for shipping ONE WAY.
I send it to them via fed express and after a week he leaves a message on my phone saying that the compter is OK and they're just going to image an OS on there for me.huh? last time the hard drive worked it still had an OS it just didnt want to boot up all the time.he admits there was some kind of intermittent problem with the drive which had to do with the wiring? this is the same "Pro Wiring"
that cost me extra right? add that to the fact that I tried changing the SATA and Power wires upon getting the HDD. I ask him about the Power problem, it not turning on, and he seems to have NO Idea what I'm talking about, somehow he doesnt
remember our convo about it and believes this computer is in great condition..but other techs I talk to say A hard drive wont cause that problem, this has to be bigger than that.
At this point we are at a standstill cause I Truly believe that If I paid 1500 dollars for something even if it doesnt live up to ALL the marketing promises it should at least work properly. Every part on the PC besides the dvd burner and soundcard are mid to high range(priced) components, I dont understand why they are so prone to failure, and why a company would knowingly sell such a product?..Honestly all I really want is just a
PC that works with the components I ordered for the price promised. If they cant do that, the least they could do is offer me a refund minus the restock fee because technically this thing WAS broken way before the 30 days was up and my initial calls to ED should reflect that. in actuality I never got to do 1 single project that I bought it for and basically had to refund 2 party's whose event's I recorded but cant edit. I told ED that on the phone and he said "Just tell them your having computer problems, they should understand. everybody has
computer problems." am I the only one who believes that people who pay for goods or services should actually get the goods and services they paid for?.
At this moment my PC is sitting on ED's desk because he still claims there was no problem with the PC's power and it's Friday and he's got a weekend to get to.. I dont wanna pay them to ship it back until they at least rigorously check this thing to make sure I dont have to turn around and do this yet again..
when I plug it in I want it to work so I can Work.
Heres hoping they will contact me and genuinely try and work things out with me.
If they do then I WILL update and raise my ratings for them..wish me luck!!
EDIT..
I've been contacted by Mike and he seems to be doing more than just investigating, he has promised to have the PC extensively tested and replacing the psu to assure it's status. he also has offered what ED couldnt.. after all the trouble I've gone through over this PC, He is saying that if it fails again within a few weeks of getting it they will cover the shipping cost to and fro IF it happens again. To me this is as good as a guarantee that it wont breakdown prematurely again. This is Music to my ears. All I wanted was this comp to work and I pray I wont have to send it back.I know its difficult dealing with the what if's of shipping , I commend them for this effort I will update more later..and hopefully raise my rating MORE if this comp works the way it should.
Thanks Mike...

"Great Communication and Great Product!!!
Will defiantely do business again!"
"This is basically the second purchase made from ComputerLX.com, the first being a few years ago in which for a friend i prayerfully searched for the best buy, with service, and ComputerLX.com was it.
Last month after much searching and comparison i bought another good buy i believe, which price for quality i would have a hard time beating if i built it myself.
I customized the BUILD MY OWN AMD FX/X2/X4/X6 SYSTEM OR BAREBONE choice as per below:
AMD BULLDOZER FX-6350 3.9GHz Six-Core AM3+ Processor
AMD COPPER HIGH PERFORMANCE COOLING FAN
ASRock 970 EXTREME3 Socket AM3+/ AMD 970/ AMD Quad CrossFireX/ SATA3&USB3.0/ A&GbE/ ATX Motherboard
8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600MHz (PC3 12800) Dual Channel (HIGH PERFORMANCE)
SEAGATE / WD 1TB 7200 RPM 64MB CACHE SATA 6.0Gb/s
ALLPCZONE Dual Fan Cooler for Hard Disk (RECOMMENDED)
PowerColor Go! Green AX5450 1 GB 64 bit Video Card
REALTEK 8-CHANNEL DIGITAL SOUND ONBOARD
REALTEK 10/100/1000 Gigabit Network Card (onboard)
ALLPCZONE ENTERPRISE MID-TOWER ATX CASE
1x OKIA 80MM CASE COOLER
CORSAIR 430 WATT HIGH PERFORMANCE SLI/CROSSFIRE POWER SUPPLY
I-MICRO 103 Keys PS2 Basic Wired Keyboard
i-Micro 2.0 Channel Multimedia Speakers
3-Year Limited Warranty Plan with Lifetime of free USA based Support...Custom Hand Wiring For Ultimate Air Flow, Assembled in Cleveland, Ohio, USA
FED-EX GROUND SHIPPING "FREE" (1-7 BUSINESS DAYS)
All for 578.00
I should have gone with AMD BULLDOZER FX-6300 as it runs at 95 watts and cooler, but the 6350 was only 7 more.
Also the 1x OKIA Heavy Duty CASE COOLER for 6.00 more would have been better, and a different CPU cooler because the $35.00 AMD COPPER HIGH PERFORMANCE COOLING FAN is a load screamer.
A major upgrade was Asus 970 mobo, which offers more than the default one, and the Corsair 430 PSU for $50.00 more, but Techies say the PSU is very important upgrade.
The ALLPCZONE ENTERPRISE MID-TOWER ATX CASE has a lot of bays, and is better than others in its price range i think.
And it is fast, and can be overclocked, and i thank God for it!
Note also that you get 3yrs warrant and lifetime free tech, on the phone with a real English speaking techie, who (Edward) was knowledgeable and helpful, and offers much advice besides fixing problems.
I actually had as problem with a BIOS firmware upgrade that did not work, and i had to send it back, but they fixed it for free in about a week, except for 35.00 shipping as it was my fault.
Only thing i think needs improvement is better email updates on the progress of repairs. And praise Jesus!

"Elena is helpful. I will certainly purchase my next computer from ComputerLX again."
"I needed an advanced workstation. I found a few places with the equipment, but the prices were very high. Then I came across AllPCZone. From the website they had all the advanced components I was looking for and the price was very competitive.
I decided to call since I had a few questions. The sales people were very kind and helpful. Elena helped me spec out the computer and I made the order the next day.
When the computer got here I was impressed. The memory was a nice low profile type, perfect for my set up and the AMD CPU water cooler was working great.
I ran some CPU and memory stress tests on the system and could find no problems.
Very happy with my purchase.

"Got exactly what I wanted and quicker than I expected. I had a problem after a couple weeks that was resolved courteously and quickly by Edward at Tech Support (once I managed to get through). Thanks."
"I have had my new computer for just three days now and so far I love it. It works just as I had hoped it would and I am looking forward to many years of good performance from this PC"
