I was very enthusiastic when I saw the responsible price for a custom build Computer. I built one with decent- good parts for $430. Soon after I got an email from a CS rep who told me I forgot to buy cooling fans and needed to add one for $30,which he gave too me for free. I got my computer and was very happy and excited. How ever I soon learned that I did not have a dvd rom which I had to buy for $20, not a big deal really. I then realized I didn't have a OS! So I spent an extra $100. Now I know these are my fault also but I just don't get why they would tell me to buy cooling fans but not the big stuff?? Also I am very frustrated because my computer keeps randomly freezing since the first day I got it. I am talking to a tech rep and hope to get it resolved. All in all I wasted much time and money that could have been prevented if they had just told me everything I was missing not just one part. Now this isn't a huge deal because it's part my fault. The freezing of my computer tho is why I'm going to give them a 3/5.
Update: So after three days of wasted conversations and horrible communication I've moved my stars down to 1/5. Tech support basically told me at first I needed a new hard drive because of my freezing problems and that I'd need to spend another $65 AND send back the one I already paid for in my computer. Now this made zero sense to me and was the first time red lights went off in my head. Now when I bought my computer I got this letter saying " To register your warranty please leave us a detailed review at reselleraiting.com. So I told tech support well don't I have a 3 year warranty why am I spending more more money. His answer was "You have a three year LIMITED WARRANTY automatically". He also has insulted me several times telling me I don't understand this and that assuming I know nothing.
Anyways if you're looking for another fine print computer company, with horrible tech and costumer service look no further!One that conceals the big stuff from you until it's to late look no further! One that assumes computer freezing is automatically a hard drive issue because it'll get them the most money look no further! Just for you all know if your computer freezes it's most likely a RAM or cooling problem for these guys don't scam you another $65"
"I got the computer pretty quick. had a little problem getting the screen to show, because I was plugging the screen into the wrong slot. I called the customer service and was told where to plug it in at and everything has worked perfect except for ive experienced a blue screen shut down that said something like "windows has shutdown to ensure saftey of the computer..." and it goes away so fast I cant read it all... slight concern about that. my comp plays WOW with Pandora running at 75-200fps."
