Mostly for photo and video editing but also for a little gaming when I'm in the mood for a distraction. Love the system, it's very fast and reasonably quiet when you consider all the hardware packed into a very nice 'Cooler Master' case. "
"Having the system for only four months... the case fans starting to fail. I have two that have stop working. Also, I cannot use ADM drivers beyond ver. 12 for the video cards without the system locking up during boot up. I have to say, I an not very happy with this system.
UPDATE: (May 27, 2013) I was contacted by a customer service coordinator, May 26. Promising resolve all issues with my system, but asked me to take down this review. I sent an email to the tech team last month about the video drivers and did not get a reply, but when I posted this review... I got a reply. Sigh.
UPDATE: (June 05, 2013) I've been working with one of their Tech Support guys, Ed, he's trying to do his best to get this fixed. I'm shipping my rig back to AllPCZone so they can work on it. Even after their 30 day policy... they are paying for the shipping. A big plus. Time without my computer stinks, but it is what it is. I am glad they are working to get this right. I will give one more update when they ship my computer back to me to let y'all know the outcome."

"I have ordered from other PC assembler companies in the past, like CyberPowerPC and iBuyPower. However, AllPCZone has been the fastest to assemble and ship my machine so far. Everything was put together as ordered and is working great.
I also like the options available on their custom builder -- or in some cases the ability to not include any option. For example, I already had a video card and RAM set aside to use with this new machine. I was able to leave these items blank, allowing me to use my own peripherals. Other sites don't seem to allow this for some reason, forcing you into purchases you might not need.
Elena was helpful on the phone and made sure everything looked OK on my order. AllPCZone seems to take customer service seriously. I would definitely recommend these guys."

"When I placed my order for a Core i7 computer by phone from AllPCZone, Gene was very helpful in configuring the order properly. The computer arrived in excellent condition. I installed Ubuntu Linux on it; I had a little trouble getting Ubuntu to install properly and ended up enabling boot option "Legacy ROM" rather than "EFI compatible ROM". With that change, Ubuntu installed properly. The computer has been working perfectly for over a month now. It is important to have the sales or tech person describe the differences in chip sets on the various motherboards, and how well they work with the processor(s) that you order."
"Great experience so far. This was my first custom built PC, and was wanting a PC for heavy duty photo and HD video editing. I chose the configuration I thought would be best, and then called in to discuss. Elena was extremely helpful, making recommendations, and ensuring all components worked together (one of my choices didn't), some of her suggestions even saved me money in a given area. When PC arrived on date expected, the blueray player didn't work. I called tech support, and the gentleman immediately diagnosed the problem to loose cable, which can happen in transit. I was able to quickly resolve the issue, and the PC is working great."

An issue of 1 wire to a fan had slipped off during shipping and a call to Edward with his help and I got it running in just a couple of minutes. "I bought a bare bones system from ComputerLX after my old computer needed replacing. After I installed my HDD, RAM, and optical drive on the new computer I started having USB problems. I contacted tech support for ComputerLX and was unable to speak to a live rep due to high call volume but was able to leave a message. I received a replacement USB card from the manufacturer of the case at the request of ComputerLX but continued to have USB problems. Eventually usb stopped working completely and had no mouse or keyboard use. I contacted mother board manufacturer who said mobo needed to be replaced. Emailed ComputerLX and asked them to call me due to continued problems with computer and possible need to replace mobo. They paid for shipping back to their facility and got everything working again. In my experience communication with tech support was difficult but once they finally called the tech was friendly and the problem was resolved after I shipped the computer back to them with all my stuff installed on it. Computer was returned in about a week and works perfect. Although I initially has hardware problems and communication with tech support took time, the experience was ultimately very satisfying and I would definitely order another computer from ComputerLX. I couldn't find a cheaper price online and the staff was friendly. "
