"COMPUTER FROM HELL

I payed for all pc zone for on the end of November. That was the worst decision I made lately.
I did not know that a simple purchase could be this dramatic. At first they did not ship the PC on time. When I called them, they were yelling at me, and made it seem like I did something wrong. When the PC arrived, it broke down after 48 hrs. After 2 days of arguing (that's what they best at) they sent me a box to ship it back to them. Another 2 weeks went by, while they said they "optimized" the pc. When I received it it was working for another 60 days, than it broke down again. When I called ALL PC Zone, the technician wanted me to grab the PC repair set of screwdrivers, and start to work on it myself. I told them the reason I hired them, because I did not have time to work on the repair and the assembly. He hang up on me. Than a 2nd technician called, and had me work 4 hrs on the PC one day, and another 2-3 hrs the following day. I followed up every step he instructed, but for some reason, the PC still not fully operational. Than he suggested, that he will send me the defected hardware, and I can install it myself, because their "company policy is to not to pay for labor costs". (I will be careful from now on, if I want to buy a piece of bread at the store, I might have me pay in advance, and bake it myself.) After I posted my review, I received a call from ALL PC ZONE customer service rep. He cursed me out, and than he sent me this e mail :The following review will be posted on LA BBB as well as all over the internet if you do not remove your fraudalant review of our company from resellerratings...

"I would have given 5 stars if they would have put in the right burner (although they said they would make it right if I so choose).
Elena is a great help in choosing the components that you need although I pretty much knew what I wanted she helped a lot and she is good about responding (unlike others that wait for days to respond to you).
The prices are reasonable although they are very limited on choices for optical drives.
I had some major install issues when I first received the computer due to no documentation of how the computer was setup (if you order one, ask about how it is setup before shipping!).
Edward from Tech Support was great in helping me to figure out what was wrong and get it fixed.
I received my computer on Friday and there is no one at AllPCZone on the weekend so be forewarned about having issues on the weekend.
All in all, it's a great looking and professionally built computer. So far, I am happy with it, time will tell."

"I had great service. They even called me and asked what I would be using my new computer for and when I told them CAD, they made some very useful suggestions of thing I needed and things I didn't need that I had included as part of my custom configuration."

"I ordered a Windows 7 64-bit system for the exclusive purpose of recording live sound on Saturday and it arrived the following Friday, much faster than I expected. I ran a few tests myself and so far the computer is running fast.
Based on my initial testing, I find this is much better than a system from a more highly recognized company.
With other companies, I had to update all the software and sometimes the hardware. Here everything was updated except for what I needed to do for sound on my end.
I have not tested this in a live environment yet. But from what I can tell there has been no electrical interference in any sample recordings.
I priced a self-build and it came up $350 less than what I paid. Considering the need we had with one computer down, this was an acceptable trade-off."

"The entire process by AllPCZone/ComputerLX.com was first rate. They call after you order to confirm custom configuration and discuss changes, if any. There are so many different configuration options it was like being in a candy store. The only problem I had was with the housing/tower I picked there are 3 spots for fans and I only purchased 2. Also additional fans I purchased were the wrong size for the fan holders. It cost an additional $35 after the re-configuration But since I had looked at a fan upgrade anyway this was not a problem.

The order was made on Thursday and Monday morning I had the unit being delivered. Excellent. Packaged extremely well, though I hate peanuts, they offer great protection. The unit was as advertised, clean well manufactured and wired. Since it has a big window the view is strikingly beautiful. Runs perfect. All discs and manuals even the packaging of the DDR3 memory was included.

"This is my first time buying from all pc zone, I needed a new computer to use for editing video and photography, I do not know much about computers, but I knew that I wanted something that I could work with right away, but it could also be constantly upgraded, I spoke with Elena when I confirmed my order, and she suggested that I make some changes to my set up, we made the changes and manage to stay close to my budget I did not get everything I wanted but I got what I thought was most important with out breaking my wallet, I received my computer on time, and went to plug it in, and here is when my inexperience with computers show it self, I fail to realized that my new computer had a different video card, that will require a different cable to connect to my monitor, not VGA like most computers I own, once I got that fix I started my computer, first thing I noticed is windows 8, is going to take some getting use to it, I checked out the apps, and everything seems fine until I try to use the Blue-ray player it does not work, went to desktop and tried to get in to the internet, but the image is awful I cannot read the text and the videos look terrible, so I contacted tech support, I spoke with Edward he told me that there was nothing wrong with my blue-ray player that I only had to download the driver software for it, they do not install or supply it, and he gave some advice on what to do about my problem with the Image, I tried several things, at the end it seems that there maybe something wrong with the graphics card, he gave me a RMA number and told me to send the card back for a replacement, mean while I can still use the on board card,
so they are working on my problem and hopefully will get everything work out.
the reason I bought from All pc zone, was their three year warranty, and their tech support, as well as being able to choose what to put on your system, so far tech support has been attentive and willing to work with me and help me get my issues resolve, I do truly appreciate that.
my recommendation for those like me that are not computer savvy and are thinking on buying from this store is to talk to one of their representatives and let them know what you are looking for, ask for their advice, and do not be afraid to ask questions
I am pleased with my purchase, and I will be even more once I get my graphic card back, got to have HD!

7/23/2013 Just a follow up on my review, My computer still does not work the way It was intended, I tried working the issues with customer support for close to 2 months but they could never accept that there was anything wrong with the computer, and told me that the problem was on my end,they never told me how to solve the issue.
I tried to get them to take back the computer and asked for a refund, but they told me that they could not do it, because the 30 day warranty had already expire it, the reason I did not ask for it earlier was cause they were working on my computer that I had shipped back to them, when I got back the machine I still had the same issue, they told me that my monitors could be messed up, but I bought new monitors, new cables and nothing works, I bought the ASUS VG27AH 27-Inch Screen LED-Lit Monitor, and, VIZIO M321i-A2 32-Inch 1080p 120Hz Smart LED HDTV, which Is what I am using at the moment, I also tried five other monitors with the same results, so when they continue to tell me that the issues were on my side, I got really frustrated, I needed this computer so badly, remember I said that the main reason I bought from these guys was for the three year warranty and support, well while they were very attentive at first, all that changed when I keep pushing them to fix the problem, at first we were talking on the phone, very friendly, after the first month, most of our communication were by
e-mail, I guess they were as Upset as I was, at the end I just gave up on them, they never accepted that there was any issues with the computer, so I realized that there was no point on me trying to talk them into helping me, when they repeatedly told me that there was nothing wrong with their product, I guess I should just believe them, since they are the experts, and I am only the idiot that trusted them.
as of May 1st 2013, I do not have any contact with them, I asked them no to contact me again, that three year warranty sounded real good, but after two months of them not being able to find and fix the problem, I had enough.
My total cost of my experience with these guys is.

I hope my review will be of use for those like me that are looking to buy a new computer and are ,not very technical, learn from my mistake and be very careful where you spend your money.

clearly you did not do all you could, I was never advised to check on the electrical output or the ups back up, in a way I am glad you did not, cause then I would had to pay and electrician, that would have been more wasted money. also you keep claiming that the problem was in my end, and that it could be a cord or monitor, I got new cords new monitors, and the problem persist, when I described my issue I said that everything looks like the old Nintendo video games, everything looks squared and out of place, pixelated, it is more than just blurry, when I asked if I needed a better card you said yes but never provide it, when I bought the computer I told all my family friends, and co works that I was so exited to be getting a computer to replace my old e-machines desktop, I could not stop talking about how great my new machine was going to be, when it arrived, I call my family to unveil the awesome computer I was going to show off and amaze them, so I gather everyone around it, and started it, I immediately heard their reactions, the children said it look, yucky, ugly, and that looking at it was making them sick, the grown ups all said that I had been ripped off, and that I was a fool to spend that much more money, that I should have stuck with the all E-machine, it is fair to say that my family, friends, and co workers will never buy from them.
if this machine needs a specific electrical output, a specific monitor, and cord, you fail to advised me on what they were, you never did all you could, YOU NEVER TOOK THE COMPUTER BACK! I would have been happy paying the re stocking fee, and I could have bought another computer from you, but instead you decided to blame the problem on me."

"If you have the experience of "building" a computer, this is not for you.

For the rest of you, contact a sells rep, tell them what your computer is needed for, receive an itemized quote ( the quote is the price of everything together and will not show individual prices ) and research what it will cost you to order everything your self and put it all together your self for free ( there are plenty of videos that show you "how to build your own computer" on the internet ).

As far as the computer's performance, looks and all of the components, I could not be happier, but these were just products that were placed together doing what they were designed to do.

In regards to ComputerLX;

Pros: Delivery time and condition of my computer.

Cons: The "Professional wiring" is not worth it, ( some of
the wires were resting on others, pulling them loose
from the motherboard ) that's what I get for not doing
it myself from the beginning.

The receipt/invoice does not show itemized prices, so
I can not tell what I paid for, ( it has "(2) Memory
Heat Spreaders" listed, but there are none installed
in my computer ) ( it lists "Deluxe Cooling Package"
and there are 5 fans in three different sizes, [ if
you are not counting the fan for the power source or
the two CPU fans ] so I can not tell if it would have
made a big difference if I bought the fans my self and
installed them { the sales person said they purchase
the cases without the fans } ) but again, this is what
I get for being lazy and not ordering everything myself
then installing them together."
