"Computer arrived well packed. The DVD/CD burner wouldn't turn on, so I had to open the case, and found out that the power cable was detached. It was a simple fix. I had to open the case anyway to install the video card, which wasn't installed prior to delivery because of its size, I was told, so it wasn't a big deal.

I paid extra to have the processor overclocked. Only one of the six cores runs overclocked, and the rest run at 1517 Mhz. I tried to call to see if that's normal, but after holding for more than 20 minutes, I thought I would just live with it. PCMark identifies the processor speed as 1517, and the memory speed as 667(I paid to have 1600 Mhz installed). I don't know why that is.

Overall, the buying experience was pleasant, but they could do better to back up their product with better technical support.

"The experience was positive. A wide selection of motherboards and cases at a reasonable cost, and a wide range of configuration options available. The unit I ordered was a high performance gaming PC with no OS. It arrived, and unfortunately there was a problem with the unit. Over the phone problem determination was made, and a replacement part shipped directly to me. After replacing the suspected defective part on my own, the problem was still present, so I had to return the unit for a more complete diagnosis. I was given an overnight shipping label and sent the unit back for repair. The technicians corrected the problem (a bent CPU socket pin), recabled my system (I had added my own hard drives and a DVD writer) and then shipped the unit back overnight. There were times when the technical support staff was not available by phone, but they were quick to respond to email. Technical support displayed perseverance in their efforts to correct the original problem, and did ultimately fix the problem to my satisfaction. "

The only downside id that they automatically assume that the buyer would like one day shipping which not everyone can afford.
