"I just ordered the Phenom X4 2.5Ghz Geek Kit w/Case and the ordering and the receipt of shipment went without a hitch. Everything was intact and in working order. My only complaint is with the case. There is no slot for the Sata drives. Just for the DVD and the 5.25 drive(curious), but I was able to jerry-rig it and make it work in the 5.25 bay(screws don't line up for the sata). Anyway they should give that a little more thought to make the experience a better one, they are obviously using an older case and should think about upgrading.
All in all I would still recommend the kit. For the money there's a lot of bang for the buck.

"I just want to start off by saying that they have great deals and decent merchandise. That said, THEIR SHIPPING IS ATTROCIOUS!! Every time I order from them (which isn't much)The shipping takes longer than it should. I have an order with them right now which I placed in the morning on the 10th. It did not leave their warehouse until 4 days later. Was it just sitting there?? The shipping is going to take a full week to arrive at my doorstep, Maybe. This is not the first time this has happened either. They need to work on getting product to customers faster."

"Hi,
Well I would have to say I have been very happy with ALL my purchases from Geeks. Customer service has been GREAT.
I bought something maybe 10 days later and saw a lower price, I call them and they rebated me the difference back to me. Now that's good business. I'm happy with the service I have received and will continue to buy from them.

"I am upset. I ordered a computer from Geeks.com on 5/10/2011. I feel satisfied it is a good price. My issue is, I was sent a confirmation email, stating it would be delivered by FedEx on 5/16/2011. After checking the FedEx site multiple times, it appears FedEx has received the package info, but the order has not been shipped. I called FedEx and they confirmed this. I called Geeks.com at this point and was told it is on a smaller truck and it is set to ship out from Geeks.com on 5/16/2011 and I would receive it 2 to 3 days after that. Huh? I understand I purchased it with free shipping included. I also understand with free shipping it won't be at your door the next day. I just wish it had been stated up front that the order would be held 6 days before leaving their company. It states on their website, within the order status area, it has been shipped, not sitting on a truck somewhere. If I knew this I then could decide if I wanted to initially purchase the item or not. An informed customer is a happy customer. I was not informed. This experience will definitely make me think twice before purchasing from Geeks.com again. "

"I have been purchasing computer components from Computer geeks for over five years and highly recommend them. They provide a wide assortment of new and refurbished computer and associated electronic equipment at very competitive prices. As usual with this eguipment occasionally I have received damaged or defective components, however, the maintain a very responsible return/replacement policy and normally handle problems within a couple of days. Their website allows a buyer to check the status of purchases and returns including several years history of same. They are an excellent supplier of computers and electonic devices"

"I have to say that the ordering experience was very good. I chose a GPS unit that I liked and then went to check out. The only problem that I have was that the order was placed on 5/3 morning and received FedEx shipping data later that day saying that it was being shipped out with a delivery date of 5/6. Well it said the same thing on 5/4 and 5/5. Finally on the day that it was supposed to arrive I get a new update (finally) that said it was in route with a new updated delivery date of 5/9. Along with this update I was informed that because of the flooding in Memphis, Tn. from the Mississippi River that all FedEx business in the area had delays. Ok -- I can understand that but, what I ordered came to Texas from California, so I can't understand why my item was delayed. Did it go from Calif. to Tn. then back to Texas. Makes as much sense as going to Canada to get to Mexico. Oh well I finally got my package with the GPS unit inside and I will have to say that I am happy with what I got. Works great, gets me around the area with no problems at all. I do have one complaint though. I received a car charger cord with it. Which works good. But for connection to a computer, (instead of a usb to mini usb cord) I for some reason was sent a usb to Kodak cord. It doesn't fit the Insignia NS-CNV43 GPS unit. What's up with that ???? I guess that the best you can expect for a refurbished GPS unit that was considerable cheaper than buying a new one especially where it evidently was sold originally (Best Buy)."

"My experiences at Geeks.com has always been very positive ones. They have the items I need, and their return policy is clearly stated. "I recently purchased a VIZIO "factory reconditioned TV" and it just arrived yesterday. What a slippery deal they gave me. It was not reconditioned it was dammaged! The video screen has a 1.5" deep scratch in the upper right hand area of the monitor. Unacceptable! and no manual or setup instructions what so ever.

To top it off they removed the serial number and pasted their own serial number on the rear of the tv. I know this because I contacted Vizio to request setup assistance. When it came to identifying the serial number I gave them the info on the label on the rear of the TV and the tech rep stated that the serial number was totaly bogus!

How do I know that this thing isn't stolen property! Geek.com was not honest in their marketing of this unit.

"To put it bluntly, this company stole my money. I placed an order and it was shipped out to the wrong address. When I noticed the wrong address I immediately contacted the company and even offered to pay the $10 to have the packaged rerouted, I was denied, because get this, ""They actually claimed the person who incorrectly received it would send it back of their own free will."" (If you randomly get a computer in the mail free of charge are you going to send it back?...Really??)

So they charged me the full amount and refused to fix the address so now I'm out the money and have nothing to show for it. I am working with the bank to recoup the stolen funds.

As far as I know it could be their alternate warehouse. They charge me and ship it to themselves. After multiple emails I still have not gotten a response. I would never use this company again and urge others not to risk losing their hard earned money to a cleverly disguised scam website out to steal your money.

As it turns out their deals ARE too good to be true.
