"I Purchased a mother board around the 1st of the year. I needed a processor and fan for it. I wasn't sure which one would be the best for my needs. I contacted customer support by E-mail requesting some information. The reply time was very quick from a person by the name of Misty she refered my info to a tech support (Fabiano) who also responded extremely fast with the recomended units that I needed. I purchased the products and now my spare PC is up and running great. Hats off to the Computer Geeks folks they are #1 in my book.You can bet your sweet Bibby I have and will recomed Computer Geeks to every one. Keep up the good works you are super............. "

"Do not order from Geeks.com after buisness hours of 7-5 Pacific time Monday thru Friday. Because,you will not be able to change an error to your order until you talk to someone during buisness hours and by that time the order has shipped with no recourse except to ship it back at your expense."

"Product arrived quickly and was adequately packed. The
product,however, contained no instructions and I had to
search the web extensively to find detailed information.
Unfortunately, My bluetooth enabled laptop refused to
find this device, and after repeated effort I decided
to return the product. I first attempted to use the
internet, but was stymied when the first question asking to identify my operating system provided a
drop-down menu which allowed a choice no higher than
XP. I use Windows 7, and there was no way to overwrite
the provided choices.
Contacting them offline, however, was a pleasure. The
GEEKS rep was great and made the return process
virtually effortless, and earned GEEKS a top rating.
I suspect the problem was with the product, but GEEKS
made the return solution easy. I would not hesitate
to buy from them in the future. In my book, reliability is the key to repeat business.

"Terrible. Placed an order and they called me to verify. Perfectly understandable. She was confirming that all information was correct. Still OK.

She asked me if the ship to address was the same as the bill to address, I said YES. She then mentioned on the order, I had put a different address. I apologized. I accidentally entered my home address. I wanted it to ship to the same as the billing address.

All of a sudden she was unwilling to speak to me and wanted to speak to the card holder (a company card) and wanted to discuss the order with her. I told her the card holder had no information on addresses or specs on the order, but it was ok to get an approval.

She told me she couldnt talk to me anymore for privacy reasons. Thats it. Terrible. I order thousands of dollars a week in gear and never come accross anything like this. Same shipping / billing address? how is that fishy?

"DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! i purchased an ATX tower at what i thought was a bargain, chose economy shipping only to find out later after completing the order that economy shipping is actually fedex Smartpost. Nearly 3 weeks after my order was purchase an i still havent received anything!!!
after contacting geeks an asking about my shipment i was told it had already arrived at my local post office an to contact them about my shipment.I called both USPS and FEDEX, USPS told me that there was no such package an the tracking number was non-existent. when i called fedex they told me that they had only received shipping information but had not received the package an to contact the shipper. Couldnt get through to geeks, havent received any replies, AN STILL DONT HAVE MY PACKAGE!! geeks robbed me of my money!

"I had been a loyal customer until this happened:

I ordered a digital photo frame from computer geeks.com as a Christmas gift. I did not learn the item was defective until January 14th. The item shipped with a 5V DC output ac-adapter, both the manual and the item itself say's it needs 9V DC. In addition the connector is of the wrong size to fit in the frame. I contacted GEEKS.COM for help. Here is what I got:

"I have checked with the manufacture and show this item does use a 5v power adapter. A 9v adapter would not be compatible with this item.

So I'm stuck with it, but tried to get them to do SOMETHING one last time...

This ad is written of the manufacture specifications we received when we purchased this item from our vendor. These items have since been tested with the 5v adapters and are known to work with the this 5v adapter. We have sold a lot of these units and each one was shipped with the 5v adapter. This would be the first unit that has not worked due to the adapter. When I had emailed you with the information about these units having the 5v adapter you asked for an RMA for a return. We are unable to have the item returned within the first 30 day. This item is however still covered under warranty and can be setup for a warranty exchange. We would not be able to issue a refund for the item, but can have the item replaced.

"Got a keyboard from these guys, when it arrives it doesn't work... NICE!

--Update! I am typing this on a working keyboard from Geeks.com! RMA process was a breeze and people like Jennifer in customer service were very helpful and responsive. They quickly shipped a replacement keyboard and it arrived super fast. The replacement works great and I can honestly say I am amazed at their customer service. I wasn't sure what to expect and thought I was screwed once the first keyboard I got was DOA. I thought I was going to incur all kinds of shipping costs and really lose out on the deal. Geeks proved me wrong and showed me that they really do care about the customer. Many thanks, A++ will shop again!

"I guess the reviews seem to be love 'em or hate 'em - put me in the former category. You have to take them for what they are, but they've been more than fair to me with returns.
What I really love is the FAST SHIPPING. I live in LA and they are just down the coast. I can order a disk drive and it will arrive within the next 2 days - even when I choose the cheapest shipping option. The shipping rates are more than reasonable too.

"I recently posted a comment in reference to this company in which i was very upset due to some problems with shipping. However the problem has been resolved and was not necessarily the fault of computergeeks.com. In actuality it was a problem with the carrier (Fed Ex). I will say that the Computer geeks did an excellent job of getting the product i ordered shipped out in a timely fashion and have since received the product which is exactly what i expected, however, i do think the company needs require signature upon delivery on all of their shipments, not just shipments over $500. I have no other complaints about the company and yes i would do business with them again and i HAVE referred several people to them. FED EX SUCKS!!! or at least this one particular driver who said he delivered a package when he didn't, just to save his ass. Said he delivered it on Saturday when he didn't actually deliver it until TUESDAY...WTH! "

"DO NOT BUY FROM GEEKS.COM!!! I had gotten a computer for Christmas and the item was defective. I also got memeroy with the order, which I applied a 10% code. The product was $144.99. Plus the Shipping, $21.00. So, I returned the product. One month later I was refunded $159.27. If you do the math I was only refunded $14.24 of the $21.00 shipping. Since I've already spent $500 worth of computer parts, I knew I would re-order this product. Ok, I go to re-order and the new order total is $167.00 So, I called Geeks.com Custumer Service and the lady immediatly started arguing with me. I had asked her why the price of the shipping had gone up. She gave me this:

"Well, our products prices are subject to change and any given time; You're in Square One!"

So she kept inturupting me. Then I told her the shipping had increased (like I said earlier). She said:

"Oh, well, you were refunded the amount of shipping on the item and not on the other products."

So, I told her the product shipping had gone up to $23.00. She said, after she check on this:

"Since you used the 10% off code on one of your items the shipping was detucted."

So, I said that she needs to refund me more since I am not paying $10 bucks more on something that wasn't even my fault! Then she treated me terribly.

"Well, I'm not going to do anything for you!"

So, I hung up.

Do I know if I'll still buy this product? No.

"I have bought items from this merchant a couple of yrs ago and recently last wk. Customer service is A+. I ordered a ST9160823AS-R -- Seagate Momentus 7200.2 160GB SATA/300 hard drive, standard shipping, received the item put it in a customers HP laptop formatted it then checked properties to find out Geeks warehouse sent a 120GB. Called customer service spoke to someone who speaks english (unlike Dell customer support) within 15 sec problem resolved, the rep was going to send out another drive right away w/ a rma shipping label for return of the 120GB. I asked about a price difference, no problem the Geeks rep is refunding the price difference and the original shipping cost back to my Pay Pal account. Very happy camper.1/25/2011- I found out the price difference for a 120gb to a 160gb hard drive was only $4.00, I called Geeks.com back up, and asked for the original purchased drive,no problem they did a cross ship. Got new drive mirrored over the 120gb to 160gb received a RMA and free return shipping label from Fed Ex. Customer service is A1. "
