Geeks sold a 'TITAN TWC A-88' Liquid Cooled computer case to me without any indication that it was a discontinued item. A call to the manufacturer -- Titan Computer Co. -- revealed that the product was phased out because they had trouble with it, and that it is no longer supported. Geeks never indicated this fact in any advertisement. They claim that they did but if you read their ads you will see that they did not.
The day after I posted negative feedback on Amazon,Better Business Bureau, and several others, Geeks dropped the price of this item by 17%. I would say that they are now trying to get rid of it as quickly as they can in order to close this matter. "

"I was very excited to find a Mac book at the $269 deal and jumped right on it. I even referred several friends to the deal. Everything was great at first but after only having it in my possesion for 2 weeks, it began having problems. The unit would not power up and the problem seemed to be with the jack where the power cord plugged into the unit. It was very loose and therefore would not charge the battery or run from AC power. I had no problem sending it back but was very dissapointed to find that not only could it not be repaired but there was no replacement offered. I did find another Mac Book on the site that was slightly newer but was extremely disappointed that even with the issues with my purchase, no consession was made on the price of the other unit. I wasnt even allowed to apply this 10% to the other unit because it was cosidered a "special". The fact that the origanal unit was only good for a couple weeks and i spent more time waiting on it to originally ship and to ship it back, only to be told a week later that it couldnt be repaired, than i actually used it, i would think some sort of cossession could have been made. I even escalated to speak with a manager who sent me over to the odering side, but still nothing could or should i say, was done. I didnt want to take my money and go elsewhere and i wasnt looking to be given something for nothing but i just didnt feel that my business was appreciated enough to do what was needed to keep me as a customer. The newer unit was twice what i'd paid for the original one and i was willing to fork it over had, at a minimum, the 10% from this feedback could have been applied. Oh well...."Thanks" from a first and last time customer!"

"I went to their walk-in outlet center to purchase a 2gig flash drive for a customer. The teller told me that the item had to come from the warehouse in the back and that it would take about ten minutes. While I was waiting I noticed several employees that kept walking back and forth aimlessly from the warehouse to the front store, seemingly with nothing to do! After waiting for 40 minutes, I asked a staff member why it was taking so long. He took my paperwork, walked back to the warehouse and returned shortly saying that apparently there was a problem. I then walked out without getting what I came there for. All I got was aggravated and my time wasted. I'll be using Fry's from now on"

"This store has the worst quality control I've ever seen. I ordered a refurbished computer. It came. It was defective (mother board hardware problem). I speak to tech support. They tell me it's toast and I should send it back for a new one. So, I do. Second computer- SAME PROBLEM. Another hour on with tech support. Send it back; wait for a new one. Third one... SAME PROBLEM!!! Unbelievable!
