"My I.T. guy loves Geeks.com so I ordered my new (refurbished) laptop from them. Less than a month in, I noticed 2 odd things on the screen. I called them about it, got my RMA # a prepaid postage to send it back by FedEx. They are to send my refund back to the account that paid for it shortly. I know there is no guarantee that a refurbished item will work correctly. I am hoping to get my refund soon and plan to try to order again from Geeks.com."

"I have ordered from geeks.com for a few years now. Overall, I would rate their customer service as good. It was spotty a year ago, but it has improved significantly since then. I ordered a tablet and it had a faulty graphics card. I called and a new one was shipped to me the next day with a free return label.
I am only giving geeks.com a 4-Star due my issues in the past. If all my interactions were quickly resolved as this one was, I would have given them a 5. "

I have only returned items a couple of since I have been buying from them. But my current return took longer to process I feel.

She had attitude and was mean almost screaming at me. When I asked to speak to Manager she just connected me to a voice mail. "I've done a little business with Geeks.com over several years. I bought two refurbished hard drives and when one of them died in the warranty period it was not a problem getting it exchanged.
My last order was for a USB 3.0 hub. It came without an A/C adapter, which is REQUIRED to use it. Fortunately, I took the A/C adapter from another device and was able to use it. It actually works well.
I added a review on the geeks.com web site saying that the product works well but that it should be disclosed in advance that it does not come with the required adapter. Geeks didn't publish it.
For that reason, I won't buy from them again."
"Order a laptop hard drive and received a desktop hdd. Called Geeks customer service support and explained the problem with the order. Ula the customer service representative was very helpful in resolving the order issue. I was able to go on line to FedEX to print shipping labels to return wrong part to Geeks. Geeks shipped the correct part to me. Geeks payed the shipping cost for returned wrong part and shipping corrected part to me. This what I call outstanding customer service. Will continue to order from Computer Geeks in the near future."
