"I ordered and received a DriveKey Solderless Wii Mod Chip that did not work. Following ConsoleSource procedure I submitted an eTicket in order to get either new chip or return the faulty one. It has been more than a week and nothing happened. No response of any kind.

After 2 weeks I was provided by ConsoleSource with RMA number that allows me to return the marchandise. I sent the chip back and now I am awaiting a new chip or money back.

"I placed an order for the AceKard2i DSi backup unith with 2GB microSd card. Totally awesome! Received in perfect condition. Last company I ordered an R4DS card from did not work and took 6 weeks to receive. Read about the AceKard and ordered from Console Source. I usually do not order from the net. " I ordered a new laser mechanism (KEM-400AAA) from ConsoleSource.com August 21st, a Saturday. The item was listed as "In Stock", otherwise I would have ordered it from any one of the other numerous merchants carrying the product. Monday rolled in, order status was queued, Tuesday came along, still queued. I sent a ticket regarding the issue (inquiring why it was "queued" if it was in stock?), and didn't receive a reply until after I'd taken care of it myself. Eventually I had to call them to see what was going on, I got ahold of a guy from sales who said he needed to put me on hold to look into it. I was on hold for 45 minutes and never actually got to talk again because I'd hung up by that time. While I was on hold, i was sitting on the ConsoleSource.com website, and a popup appeared with a chat window saying that a "live representative" was there, and to type in a question. So I asked if they could look into my order status. Well, the window spammed "please wait longer" and "thanks for your patience" type messages for another 5 to 10 minutes. When I finally got an ACTUAL "live representative", they were incredibly slow and uninformative. For example, I would ask something like "Can you check into my order number ###### for me, it says it's queued.", then receive no reply for 5 minutes or more. Then I'd say "hello?" and I'd get a really snotty text back like "Just a second?!? I'm looking into it". Well, incase you haven't noticed, we're not in the same room, and I have no idea what you're doing. At the end of it I had to cancel the order, because after all of this, once I finally got ahold of a human being, I was informed that the "In Stock" item was put "unexpectedly" on backorder by the manufacturer...... No one called, messaged, emailed, replied to my ticket, handled my phone call etc... They just basically wanted to let me wait an undeterminable amount of time for the product, even they didn't know when it would be in stock. I tried asking questions, I tried reason and logic, I tried patience, but NO ONE at ConsoleSource was able to explain this to me. I mean simply, the concept of "In Stock" is very basic. If something is in stock, then you have it, you can ship it at will, you can touch it, set it on fire, or taste it if you want. So honestly, why won't they own up to the fact that they screwed up hard? Can a manufacturer actually sneak into your stock room in the middle of the night, steal all their products back, and then inform you that there's an unexpected backorder?!? I think not... This, in my opinion, is absolutely HORRIBLE customer service, and I personally won't be looking to do any shopping there in the future. To add to the insult, once I'd requested the order cancelled and refunded (they had my money already), they waited until the next day to cancel it, and here I am, more than a week since cancelling the order, and I still have no refund, or laser. As a Canadian, I like to do my shopping locally, and 99% of the Canadian online retailers I've dealt with were very good. This one however, I honestly can't recommend to anyone, if I want to keep a clear conscience that is..."

"Not a bad experience but not the best one either.

I ordered 2 small items from Console Source.

Pros:
-Cheap: Best prices I could find
-Free shipping: Rare to see that anywhere
-Wide selection of products: Catalog is very good

Cons:
-Slow processing: Order was completed on August 7th. Took until 24th to ship items. Took until 30th to receive items. Ouch, 3 weeks is a lot when ordering parts that are in stock and shipping from the same country.

-No Paypal support: I know people who would like the added protection of Paypal

"This company has NEVER let me down. By far the BEST online shopping experience i have ever dealt with. They have a great selection on their website, and almost always either have a very low flat rate for shipping or even FREE shipping. I have always recieved my orders within a week of them being shipped from the warehouse. If you are looking to buy console modifications of any kind, this is the shop for you.
