"This is the worst online buying experience in 10 years. I fell in this trap due to the free shipping offer. I placed the order for DZI pro chip, status showed "completed" on 12/15/06. The order indicated 5-20 days shipping but I received nothing within the shippment date. Sent online request and no response for 3 days. The toll free number is a joke. You can try yourself. I regret making such stupid decision and feel like cheated.
The company is at toronto and I am at washington d.c. How come it take that long? How many support people in the company? I feel the site is operated by one person only. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!"
"Update: Responding to the company's response. All they had to do was E-mail me (or reply to their ticket system) what was going on with the product and this review would not have happened. But that would also mean that the product is no longer in stock, right? Well why is it still listed as in stock on their web page?
And their number has been busy all day again..
Ordered a M3 Sd adapter, Dec 28 said it was in stock, and it still says its in stock. Immeditely went into processed status and was that way until Jan 2nd. Then it went into a queued status. My credit card was charged on the 28th also.I placed a ticket on Dec 30 and still have to answer. Trying to call the number is a joke, all I get are busy signals. The web site states that all in stock products are shipped within 24 hours.
I will re-update this as I get more information. But as of right now I am very dissatified."
"I can sum up consolesource.com in 2 simple words: extremely reliable. I've ordered from the twice and have had no problems. I purchased USBextreme and HDadvance 3.0. The former works like a charm. As for Usbextreme, it leaves MUCH to be desired. However, this is hardly consolesource.com's fault, they only sell it. Shipping is a tad pricey, but being able to track it in realtime is a luxury I'm willing to pay for peace of mind. I find it very admirable that they not only check reselleratings.com but also respond. I can't think of too many internet resellers that do that. Yes, they are Canadian but I won't hold that against them, since Canada produces so many gorgeous women! But I digress, I can't say enough positive things about consolesource.com. "I ordered a 2gb Sandisk Memory stick Duo for PSP. The website said it was in stock. My order was processed and my credit card was charged. The next day I checked my order status and it had been moved back to a Queued status. I started to get the feeling that memory card was not in stock (since every store or website I checked was still only taking preorders). I waited a few days and my order still had not shipped. I then asked that my order be cancelled via thier ticket system. I then called them to follow up to find out if my order was cancelled and my credit card was refunded. They told me the refund had been submitted. A week and a half later I recieved an email saying they had submitted the refund and then it took a couple more days for it to show up in my bank account. In short don't trust them, they will charge your credit card for items that they don't even have in stock. "
"Ordered Swap magic 3.6/w slide card for around $26. It took about 2 weeks to arrive from the order date, which is ok since they did say that it would take about 7-15 days since i choose the least expensive shipping. However, i never knew that they were in Toronto, Canada. I probably wouldn't have ordered if i had known that earlier, since it takes too long for packages to arrive from Canada. They should state that more clearly on the their website (although, i haven't seen it stated anywhere). In summary, here are the pros and cons:
Pros:
-Gives you good (read: cheap) shipping options.
-Prices on items are just right or cheaper than other places.
-They have live customer service, which actually works.

"Like someone said on another review, the website screwed up and said transaction failed. I went through the process again and it went through ok. The next day I get an email saying that both orders are shipping. So now I have 2 orders coming.. or do I. I made the mistake of choosing the US mail for shipping. No tracking. It said on their site 7-15 days. It has now been 25 days and I have recieved nothing. I sent them an email and got this response:
Your order shipped on Oct 5, 2005 via standard ground service. The shipping method you selected can take up to 15 business days for delivery not including the day the item was shipped, weekends or holidays. As of today your item has been in transit for 12 business days. The shipping method you selected only offers an internal delivery confirmation for our records and not a realtime tracking option.
Ok.. I'll be ok with that. I think they should say 7-15 business days then. But ok. Well it has been as of today..

21 shipping days since shipped
17 (ehem) business days since shipped
..and I have recieved nothing. I waited until 15 business days (since when does the US mail not ship on Saturdays) and sent another email. No response."

I ordered a GBA 1gb flash card and a GBA headphone adapter from them on Oct 7. They are a Canadian company, and charge an outrageous amount for shipping to the states. Lowest cost shipping is $20 for 3-5 day shipping. 3-5 Days pass, and I haven't received a shipping invoice or any other email for that matter. I used their online chat service twice. 2 times in 3 days. The first time I was told there were manufacturing delays, and it would ship out that afternoon. The day passes. Second time I talk to them was no better. He's part of our transcript
Me: yes, and you told me it would be shipping _today_
Representative: This order will ship later this week.
Representative: Although, it is shipping today.
Me: ...
Me: so is it shipping TODAY
Representative: Is there anything else I can help you with?
Me: or later this week
Representative: Yes, it is scheduled to ship today.
Me: if it is scheduled to ship today, WILL it ship today - or will there be more production delays
Representative: The production delays are over, so it should ship today.
I call their telephone number later that week and am told it will ship that afternoon. Two weeks pass without anything being shipped, yet they're awfully quick to deduct money from my account. I try to cancel my order the next week, and am told it would ship that afternoon if I didn't. Which of course it won't. To top things off, _APPARENTLY_ there's a 5% fee for refunds. So I waited 2 weeks, didn't get my order, nor do I get all my money back. Then they say it will take 48 hours for the money to show up in my account. That was a week ago, and I've called back twice to confirm the cancelletion. I've already talked to my bank about filing a fraudulent charge, which I will do in a week if the money has still not been returned.
I trust that this logical, clear and concise explanation is adequate in disuading any potential customers this sketchy company may have."

"Ordered product on Jun 19th, After approximately 11-12 days I submitted a ticket requesting shipment date, 3 days later I received a reply explaining product had been in shipment for 11 days. I waited over a weekend and until approximately 17 shipping days had past. I called and talked to consolesource and was told the product had been delivered on 8th July which was approximately 12 business days after shipment . Obviously this was not true "although they had no way of knowing I did not receive product" I could not blame them for lost shipment as this does happen especially with postal mail. Having talked with 2 seperate people and emailing a 3rd I felt fairly comfortable ordering another chip from them. This time I did order with express shipment. I received the order two days later.
Much to my surprise!!! I also received the original order the same day through the post office.
I want to express my thanks to those who talked with me, Now if I can just figure out what to do with the other order... I'd have no problems ordering again from these folks. Just be careful if you use postal mail as it can be very lengthy."
