"I placed an order with the DMS4 EZI Pro modchip last Tuesday (15th) and took them a whole week to ship them out... they keep saying DMS was late supplying them the stocks, so I don't blame them for that.

And I had this ordered as UPS Express (1-2 Days, paid $15USD extra) as well. But when they finally provide a tracking number to me, it was not a UPS tracking number, but instead is a Canada Post Tracking #.

I called them and asked what's wrong with it, they say UPS will not delivery to my postal code (I live in the city, yes city, not town, not farm, city! and had 10+ UPS services before) so they delivered it through Canada Post and they say it will take just as long.

So I went to Canada Post's website and track the package, it now say "Expedited Parcels" Standard delivery date: March 1st. And I checked that "Expedited Parcels" are averaged 2-7 business days across Canada.

So basically I ordered and paid for a product they don't even have in stock (no notification of back-order in website), waited 1 week, paid extra for UPS express service but ended up waiting for another week for some other cheap and slow delivery service.

Today is the 11th day since transaction and my package is still not arrived yet (if at all).

"On January 17th '05, I ordered the HDLoader, 120 GB Maxtor HD, and the PS2 network adapter combo (SKU3392). The online order process went fine. I received an email confirming my order and I chose regular shipping which is 7-15 days by USPS Ground. This was fine for me since shipping was $5 and I wasn't in any hurry to get the items. The only problem I have is that it took extremely long time for my order to arrive. I came yesterday Feb, 14th. Almost a whole month since the day I made my order. I did get confirmation that the order was shipped via their website's order status page. I suspect it could have been USPS holding up the process however I don't understand why that would be. The items all came in good packaging and in working order. Everything works great and no more long waits for loading anymore! I wish they would send more emails to you about your order status tho, instead of going to their site and checking your order status there all the time."

"Payed for a XBox Spider Chip via PayPal. It's 23 days later, and it has still not arrived. All I get when I try to call is a busy signal. I guess I need to file a fraud case with PayPal... This sucks."

"I have to say that my experience with this e-store was the worst that I have had with ANY e-store to date. I ordered a Flash2Advance Ultra GBA Flash Cart on 1/10/04. I immediately received a receipt on my order and by their site it was supposed to ship within 24 hours. 2 days go by and I get no tracking number or anything, but the money was certainly taken out of my account on time. I use their online "support" to find out the tracking number since it should have been sent and I am told that they are having problems getting the number, but the item has shipped. The next day was pretty much more of the same. I contacted their online customer service and again asked for a tracking number. They said that they couldn't provide it for me, but I would have the product by Friday as promised. Friday comes around, and still no tracking number. I try to call and get nothing but busy signals. I try to use their online customer service and no one answers it. At this point, I requested my shipping fee back, but somehow I doubt that I will get it. "

"I've have purchased approximately $500 worth of merchandise from Console Source, in two orders, in the last six months.

(1) A Western Digital 200 Gb hard drive. A few days after ordering, I had not received a shipment confirmation, or any status on the order. As logging into their website repeatedly failed, and I expected shipment within 24 hours, I telephoned them. It turns out that the item, though marked "In Stock," had been backordered. I eventually received the product in good order, a week to ten days later.

2) A copy of HDLoader and a Maxtor 120 Gb hard drive. Given the previous encounter, I opted to call Console Source after 24 hours and having not received a shipment confirmation. I was assured that I would receive on that day, and indeed I did. Unfortunately, it included the wrong tracking number. The product did arrive in a timely fashion, and in proper working order.

Although my interactions have been limited, I feel it's fair to say that Console Source can stand to improve it level of communication with its customers. If they promise to process your order within 24 hours, an email should be sent at that time advising of the current status. That information should be complete and accurate.

Oh, and get Becky some help on the phones!

"Double charged me and never sent out the item. I have waited 22 days and have received nothing. I have sent 3 emails and have no replies. If you want to place an order, make sure you call them.

Oh wait, no answer.

The order eventually came. It arrived in 24 days. The double billing of my account made me overdraft my account and I had to pay a 29.00 fee. The double bill error was their fault. Their page said "Transaction Failed", when it really went through.

The second copy of HDadvance is a dupe. It works but is not an original.

"Recieved HD Loader and it did not work, would not boot up, nothing. I emailed several times and did not get a reply. Later I found out they are selling FAKE HD Loaders and it was a free version anyone can download off the net.

I will never order from them again and will dispute the charges with my credit card.

1) Product was "not working fully" and "replacement or refund" was not immediately issued or ever.

2) No one responded to my emails, no it did not get filtered into my spam. You insult me by sugesting I dont know how to use something as basic as email.

3) "ConsoleSource.com sells official and licensed merchandise only" This is total BS. When I finaly got it to boot on a newer PS2 it said "Free Version" on the boot screen. It was not compatible with my PS2 because it is a copy and older PS2 have trouble reading burned DVDs.

4)I did dispute the charge with my credit card and PayPal and the charges were reversed. Show how good you accounting practices are. If you want to think I paid for it, that is fine with me.

5) "ConsoleSource.com trusts that this logical, clear and concise explanation is adequate in resolving any outstanding issues this customer may have. " This is not an explaination why no one answered my emails, why no one contacted me. Why you guys are selling fakes!!! As far as I am conserned this is over and as I said before I will not deal with consolesource for any future purchases.

"I ordered 3 items from their site on 9/23/04. All were in stock and ready to ship. I made my payment by credit card immediately and received a payment receipt in my email. My order then proceeded to sit in "Queued" status for a week. When I called them, the woman on the other end said that my order had been shipped that day 9/29/04 and that the status of my order would be updated on their website. Low and behold, my order did shift to "Complete" status and I had a tracking number.Overall, ConsoleSource.com is a so-so online store. While they did have what I wanted at a competitive price, they took an entire week to ship my order! I would say that the best way to deal with these people is to call them frequently if anything goes wrong. It probably is a strike against them that I had to call in order to seemingly get the ball rolling!Would I do business with them again? Probably not! Do they have a wide assortment of products? Maybe. Is customer service professional? No! Are prices reasonable? Perhaps. My advice to all is to be very wary about dealing with ConsoleSource.com in the future, as they seemingly haven't improved over previous complaints here and elsewhere on the web."

"Placed my order on 8/26 and credit card already shows charge completed, yet a week later my order still has not shipped according to the status indicator on their site. It has been in "Queued to ship" status since the day of order despite my paying for the expedited 1-5 day shipping. Their FAQ indicates that they ship within 24 hours and will e-mail a tracking number, but I haven't received a thing.

I don't know where the other reviewer got an ETA because their site does not show such information. I sent an inquiry about my order using their contact form, but it says that they may not respond for up to 3 days! The site looks nice and does seem to offer some useful information, but cutomer service and order processing and shipping are sorely lacking.

The products finally arrived on 9/14/04, a full three weeks after ordering and the site indicating that the item was in stock and ready to ship the next day. So much for the expedited shipping fee that I paid for. They didn't even bother to notify me about the delay until after I sent them an e-mail a week later, then it took another 3 days + weekend for a response.

The order consisted of a 2 disc set and a modchip. They shipped the 2 disc product in a single disc DVD case with only a piece of tape to hold the second disc in place. As expected, the second disc didn't stay in place and was scratched up. The modchip came with no instructions and the site did not have them available for download. Finally found the info on another modchip site after some Googling.

Overall the prices are average, but customer service is sorely lacking.

"Ordered (Three 256k memory paks for N64) on May 11, 2005.

Received confirmation within minutes.

Never recieved confirmation that the item was shipped.

Sent e-mail regarding tracking on May 24, 2005.

Got a response within 8 hours. They said item had been in transit for 8 days.

Got the item on May 25, 2005.

My only complaint is that the memory paks are not the original Nintendo memory paks. They are third party memory paks that look like the original Nintendo paks. Oh well.

-DID not send me a invoice or order number

-Infact, i called them to make sure... I was informed item was in stock (XBIT modchip)

After charging me! They told me i will get it after one week MAYBE! They're scammers!!!

"As of writing this, I have yet to recieve my product. Ordered 2004-02-19. At time of purchase, product was 'in stock' and waiting to be shipped out. Waited a few days and product was still not shipped. Email them asking what the problem is, they say its backordered and will take a week for them to get product in. Email them again a week later and same response. Sent them two emails recently (in the month of april) and havent not heard back from them yet. "
