"I ordered a xenium gold modchip from these guys because I couldnt find it anywhere else. I was pleasantly surprised that the order went through that very night, and after checking the status, it had shipped the next day (or day after, cant remember when I checked). Either way, I had the chip in my hands less than a week, and that was faster than expected, considering I took the cheapest shipping option. I was slightly concerned with the packaging (it came in a padded envelope), but after installing it, and booting in the xenium os on the first try, my concerns were gone. Overall, very happy. 2 small things were I was not supplied a tracking number (I believe you get one if you throw down some more cash for better shipping, but even UPS ground still supplies a tracking #)and shipping a computer chip in an envelope seems sketchy. But, everything works, and was on time, so I have no real complaints, and certainly not enough to prevent me from ordering again."
"Ordered a Mod Chip on April 16 and received 21st. Missing part (connecting cable). Was April 24/25 before I could get through to customer service. Stated they had one & would send asap. Not receiving,called again at which time I was told they were waiting for an order to come in, expected May 12. Called again Monday May 15th to and was told it was shipped.
Around May 30 still had not received so had a parent call and was assured it would be shipped 5 day air. It arrived June 7. Connected, did not work, rechecked all connections and still not working. Checked chip site and triple checked instructions, still not working.
June 9th submitted ticket to RMA dept. asking about returning. They replied June 20th to check the instructions once again and closed the ticket. Have again begun calling and cannot get through.
Given this history I cannot really recommend this company. "

6/6/06- call today, the first call i made i could talk, i had to pay an extra fee cause its going to venezuela. thats why it was in queued, really good service in 5min i got solved everything, only they could check a little bit the emails and tickets, but i know they might receive a lot everyday, just try calling, i wasnt able to talk yesterday maybe for the difference in time zones, but again really good service, let you guys know how it finish. :)

"Given 1 month to receive the item. Confirmed my address on the order. I gave their 5-20 estimation for order delivery. Submitted a Trouble ticket on 05/20/06 and to this day no reply on that. So far I am not real happy with the service. Everything on the site was fine, ordering was good but just not happy with their customer service so far.
UPDATE:05/29/06 - Response from customer service, talking it out now.
UPDATE:05/31/06 - Item received. The date on the package was 05/01/06 so the item was sent by ConsoleSource on time. Telling by the package, it had boxing tape holding down part of the label. My reasoning is it got lost at some point. Part from the slightly slow response on the customer service side, happy with ConsoleSource."

"I think consolesource.com sucks, and despite their do-no-wrong opinion of themselves this is not defamatory or libelous, it's my opinion.
I ordered something on the 23rd of march. I spent a few hours trying to get through on the phone with them about 15 days after ordering and asked for a tracking number. I was told that there was no tracking number available; but that my item had been shipped on the 24th and would take up to 20 days.
On the 15th of april I sent them an e-mail asking what address they had, to see if there was an error there. No answer; CONSOLESOURCE WAS UNABLE OR UNWILLING TO GIVE ME THE ADDRESS WRITTEN ON THE PACKAGE. THIS WAS FAR TOO DIFFICULT FOR THEM, AS IT INVOLVED RESPONDING TO AN E-MAIL FROM A CUSTOMER.
On the 17th of april I sent them another e-mail asking for a response. No answer
On the 18th of april I sent them another e-mail informing them of my intent to dispute the charge with my bank if they didn't try and resolve the issue.
On the 21st of April I received an e-mail stating that they didn't do anything wrong, and that the post office doesn't operate on saturdays; making my 29 days of waiting 18 in their time.
On the 26th of april I e-mailed them reminding them that it had been over a full month and asked what was going on. No answer
I am fed up with this, I am disputing the charges on Monday, May 1st. If the product does ever come I will refuse it, and send it back as "return to sender"
Consolesource.com: You are a company with very poor customer service, you do not seem to care about your customers, and your attitude that all the upset customers are wrong only accentuates that. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY BAD REVIEWS IF YOU'RE SUCH A GREAT COMPANY??
I will never do business with you again, I do not wish you on anyone, oh, and If your "spam filter" filters out customers, and you are aware of this STOP USING THAT FILTER. Last contact 4/5/06 and still giving me the same line about the item will ship next week, have been told this consistently since two weeks past the order date.
This is an unethical organization that will take your money for items they don’t have, find another retailer and you will be a lot happier."

Placed my order Jan 18th 2006. Order was in Queued status for a few weeks. Emailed Consolesource.com they told me the item was on back order and would send me an equivalent item immediately if I wanted or I could wait until early feb when they expected product in. It happens so I chose to wait. Finally got my order 23rd Feb 2006. I ordered Xenium chips with solderless adaptors. The chips were fine but the solderless adaptors were faulty. One I managed to repair myself (Bad soldering was causing a short) but the other looks physically ok, but just won't work. Contacted Consolesource.com using their support ticket system. Received a response from one of their Reps 3 days later saying he would contact manufacturer and see if I can get a replacement. A week later I contacted again wnat was told there was no response. Today is 30 March 06, and I've still heard nothing. So right now I have a chip ordered 18th Jan 06 which I still can't use. Clearly this isn't great service :-(
Having read your reseller reply Mr Consolesource, Clearly I'm not a novice if you read my posting. I've installed many of these chips and never had any problems until I ordered from you. As far as using the wrong forums, I followed your RMA links and made my posting. **NOTE: This guy is obviously working from his Garage, buyers beware. "I must have got lucky (does not happen often), but i ordered a HDloader and hard drive combo. Both arrived in reasonable time, and work fine. I did notice that it is hard to contact this company thru the phone. I called about 3 times and it was always busy. It was not a big issue so i didnt try again. The only gripe i have is with the high shipping cost, but I guess from Canada it wasen't to bad. All in all a pretty good experience."

sent reply to reopen ticket - "Ok, perhaps you misunderstood my message. I had already aquired my tracking number from the order screen, however if you enter in that information into the canada post tracking system... it shows that the package information has been submitted electronically, however it is not yet en route and further has not been picked up from (I will assume) the warehouse.
This greatly concerns me as I had made the order some time ago (Feb. 15) and the shipping method chosen should have had me the item on approximately the 20th.
I have given you the benefit of the doubt thus far however I see no reason as to why this item is taking so long to ship out of your warehouse.
the way I see it there are only 2 options available.

After posting the review you have just read, I got a voice mail on my phone from them, and called them back. They informed me that Canada post returned the item to their warehouse as the shipping label fell off. (Unlikely but I guess it can happen)
Customer support person offered to UPS the order to me with next day shipping. I of course accepted. Item was at my door the next morning
Even though I did eventually get my order. I must say there are a few things that deeply trouble me with this seller
1) repeated contact attempts resulted in busy signals
2) their "Live support" and phone support people seem to have no contact with each other
3) it wasn't until I posted a negative review on here that I was able to contact them
In short if there is 1 thing I can say about Console Source it is this:
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING USING THIS SELLER"
