"We already shipped it"- they claimed over and over- when FedEx stated as early as 17th July, 2008 that they transmitted the info on the box to FedEx yet never requested pickup, and never shipped my GPS unit to me.

What of the extra charge for 2 or 3 day shipping?
What gives. Called Customer Service at; ***-***-**** several times- they never answer. The same guy answers posing as a salesman day or night and does a phone transfer to customer service supposedly! We're all aware of virtual pbx right? Come on already!

"Shopping at Consumer Depot or Overstockdealz is great. They have such great deals. The only issues I have are you do not know how much stock they have on a certain product so if you are planning on buying two you won't find out until you buy one. The other problem I have had is sometimes the product descriptions are too vague and their online part numbers are their own format and it makes looking up information on the items difficult. I recently bought a camera that I mistook for another and because shipping costs are so high it's not even worth it to send it back. I'm going to try selling it at a yard sale. Even with these few downfalls you can't argue with great deals. I love the make offer option. I only wish all the products had that option. Finally an online seller that allows haggling.

OK. Update here. Received my latest items and I'm a little dissapointed it seems everything I ordered was used. The description said "new in package", but all items were obviously used. Mind you they were lightly used, but used nonetheless. I'm a little put off because of this."

"I have shopped at Consumer Depot since 2002, and I think they are an excellent place to find generic computer parts and peripherals, including keyboards, mice, CD/DVD drives, etc.

My only complaint is with my most recent order. I purchased a used Samsung clx 3160fn multifunction color laser printer from them for $70. The price was excellent, and the printer is mostly functional. Unfortunately the paper cassette was damaged in shipment as they did not pack the printer properly (it was loose in the box). This means that my printer now has great difficulty in properly feeding paper, simply because they did not take care to properly pack the printer (and I paid almost as much in shipping as I did for the printer!)"
