"Bad. The product was defective. The cosmetic defects are acceptable, but the DVD player in itself has functional defects. The battery is totally worn out. Does not even charge for a 10 minute supply. The power component of the unit is faulty, the unit goes off and on after a few minutes. The adapter plug has to be hold tight with hand to make the player play.
Big mistake to buy a Display piece from this store.
I do not have time to send for refund of replacement. And that too I already paid $10 shippping, no I dont want to pay another $10 for a $80 item.

The credit can't do anything because they have a no refund on shipping and handling, and this is where they get you. End up they cancel some of my items, and still charge almost the same amount of shipping and handling cost. They will accept your offer on most items. All their items are old and use, no matter what description they have on their website. The phone nujmber that they have is only for sale, they outsource to another place to handle this. They don't have a phone number for customer service. The only way I was able to contact them was through their website, login in. "I bought a Sony PS2 Game system from Consumer Depot. It said tested repackaged on the item's page and the price was quite ok. I recieved it and I started to play my NEW rock band game.

Everything was good for a couple hours then my game stopped working. When I removed the dvd I realized that PS2 scratched a ring around my dvd rendering it useless.

I paid $69.99 + $12.49 (shipping) for this thing, since their return policy doesn't cover returning shipping I paid extra $10 for that. That makes a total of (around) $92. I will recieve $69.99 of it back (if I ever can, we'll see about that, I will update this review if I can't take that back) I lost $22 already.

Add the $49 for the rock band game this device rendered useless to that. Makes my loss $71 even if I can take my $69.99 back from them. I can't believe my loss is more than its original price...

Bottom line is, stay away from Consumer Depot. I don't recommend shopping from them. 0 out of 10... "

"These folks shipped in the retail box, no signature required, so I has a $100 item sitting outside my front door for 8 hours. I opened the box and all appeared intact (although the box was badly beat up). The game booted but wouldn't let me start a game, ends up the disc was scratched. Borrowed a disc so I could test the guitar controller. the tilt sensor was bad. This reseller wants me to pay return shipping. Purchase from somewhere else, as there's no support if something is busted."

I've purchased 5 things from here. 3 items came in just as advertised (like new, in original packaging). Though one of them didn't come with the instruction manual and warranty papers.
