"I recently ordered a 30GB Zune for my sons birthday. The price on average was 100 dollars cheaper than everywhere else. The Zune arrived in only a few days and was in excellent condition. No I did not recieve a zune box with it and instructions but honestly these were not needed.I plan on checking with Consumer Depot before making any electronic purchases in the future!I highly recomend this seller!"
"Listed "like new" item came with all pieces loose, no box and no paper work. Item did not work. I can return the item, yet the shipping cost will not be refunded and the shipping cost are very high. BE VERY LEARY!!!!!"
"I am going to to write the ultimate advisory, "Do not buy" review here. But if you don't have time for this review, just do a quick google search on "consumer depot lawsuits", or "consumer depot 18,000 user complaints" I have been shopping on the internet for over 10 years and this is the worst experience to date. I didn't think scandalous companies like this still existed like the old days. At least I knew what to expect back then. Anyways, DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. I bought an item from them that does not work. It was a keyboard. The spacebar does not work.(I need the spacebar!) Kinda funny, but let me put in my 2 cents. Packaging was terrible, in fact, there was no packaging. It came in the original box. THAT cost me over $12 dollars in shipping? I can't return this. Why? They don't comp the shipping which is an arm and a leg. Why else? By the time I return this thing the 14 day return policy from date of purchase for defective products will be over, b/c I'll probably ship this back ground.
Their confirmation e-mail went straight to the junk mail folder! That's kinda funny, maybe it could happen, but I usually get most of my confirmation e-mails in my inbox. I try to login and I get this: "The username entered does not exist. We have recently updated our website. We are Unable to locate your information in our database. Please take a moment to provide up-to-date registration information. If you have registered on ConsumerDepot.com before 4/12/2007, your information may not be available online. If you need to contact us, then click here.
Thank you." I tried to have them resend my password, but they say my username doesn't exist. Even more disturbing, I was reading an old review from a year ago and they mentioned recieving the same similar message.
Now I might be a bit bitter and sarcastic, but I've been reading the other reviews for this company, and normally I won't think much. But what they have to say resonates so much I know they are telling the absolute truth. I feel for the people who have purchased $200-$300 items here. I write because companies like this don't deserve to exist and again I'll have to say that you should not buy from Consumerdepot unless you want a defective product."
"Wow. I swear I got the EXACT same Playstation 3 that "acoustic_visions" wrote about on 12/25/2007...pathetic.
I placed my order with OverStockDealz on January 30 for PS3-60GBR - A refurbished SONY Sony PlayStation 3 w/ 60GB HDD for $379.99 plus shipping. The description page said the PS3 was "Like New, in Original Packaging."
Well, they didn't lie. The PS3 was in the original packaging all right. That is about all that was true, though. The unit was scratched and EXTREMELY dusty!
Much like acoustic_vision's experiences, the PS3 failed to turn on many times and when it did turn on the machine froze. I called Sony and they declared it a defective unit. So, I was going to send it to Sony for warranty repair, but guess what? No warranty!
So, I got the RMA# from OverStockDealz and sent the hunk of junk back for my refund, which I got yesterday, thankfully. Minus shipping. Still a scam.
Either way, I am sure OverStockdealz will be reading this when I tell you all not to order electronics from these scammers...that PS3 you buy will probably be the one that has been returned by me...and maybe even acoustic_vision....BEWARE.
OverStockDealz...are you listening? YOU ARE THE WORST OF THE WORST!"
"The product i received was totally non functioning and the shipping fees that will not be refunded to me were about three times what I would expect, this is a SCAM. "
"I have found that the service was outstanding, to say the least. I have bought many items over the years from eBay and must say in all honesty that this company is miles ahead of their competitors. The quality, the price were really great. The service, however, would have to be considered unbelievable. The only way the service could be improved is if they delivered the items the day before you bid on them. I hope to remain a loyal customer for many years to come."
"I purchased what I assumed was a new Xbox 360 from overstockdealz.com. Xbox 360's come with a 1 year warranty from microsoft. The system work fine until a couple of months ago. It is now not working and I tried to use the warranty. Microsoft has indicated that the warranty for this system expired on 4/07. This site sold me a product that had no warranty for two months before selling the product. I've contact the site and they have told me that they won't replace the product. I would recommend not buy any electronics from this retailer since it could be sold without a warranty."
"This was an outsatanding transaction. Executed with precision! I got more then expected and fast as you could ever expect. Lightning. =)"
"Purchase and delivery were fine. Shipping costs are TOO HIGH. It does NOT cost $15.00 to wrap a free Priority Mail envelope around a camera and put it in a free Priority Mail box and mail it. $7.50 Priority Mail or $8.95 Priority Mail Flat Rate Box. Shipping cost me damned near as much as the item I bought. And it was NOT a large item. SHAME!!"
"I ordered 360 VGA cables from them... they arrived in great condition and perfect working order. However, on their Ebay page they said they would ship it out first class mail, which they did not; it was shipped via media mail. This was fine, as they answered my shipping question promptly. Everything was completed without hassel."
"Terrible. WILL NOT DEAL WITH AGAIN. First, they give you three days to pay on ebay purchases, not the standard 7. Wouldn't have been a problem but I had a bank issue and needed an extra day cause of the weekend. Sent them an email and they replied that everything is automated and they couldn't do that. So I had no chioce but to wait till monday even if it would cost me a neg. Monday I paid for the item, after several emails from them over the weekend telling me they would file a nonpaying bidder with ebay and leave a neg. Tuesday, they inform me that they LOST the item and refunded my money. WTF, I needed an extra day to pay, they wouldn't give, then they lost the item and I am suppose to be happy about it. I was going to leave them a neg but after reviewing their feedback, if I did, they would leave me one. So if I pay for the item on time and they loose it I am suppose to be happy. OMFG, those people need to get a grip. I bit the bullet and left them a pos, they left me a pos and now they sent me an email saying thanks for the pos and oh by the way, since you were happy with us, please go to this site and say something good about us. LOL, at least I get some satisfaction. NEVER AGAIN will I deal with these idiots."
"Purchased Item on 2/1/2008, rec'd 2/09/2008(Xbox 360 hd/av cord) Transaction was easy and thorough.Shipping time was great. Hope to do business again in future."
"Awesome transaction. TechGraveyard is super quick ata communication, have great deals, and super-fast shipping! Awesome shopping experience. Item exactly as described as well and thorough detail given."
"I bought from one of their auctions on eBay. They were honest in their item description, fair on their shipping, and prompt with delivery. I would do business with them again."
"this is a very good seller and a very nice people to deal with thank you ps when they tell you something it is the truth good people to buy from "
