I was ripped off! The item was listed as new...The box came damaged...The items inside were not wrapped as new items would be and item did not work1

Now I must pay the cost of shipping the item back, in addition I am out the cost of shipping the item to me..I intend on contacting the internet fraud department, as well as filing a civil suit for the cost of my shipping and aggravation due to the willful misrepresentation of this item.

I will never use this site again, I also intend on reporting this site to consumers affairs!

"The external hard drive came without packaging, scuffed, and with SOMEONE ELSE'S DATA already on it! Consumer Depot sells used stuff - avoid them at all costs.

Further, phone calls to Consumer Depot's customer service line were immediately transfered into voicemail, and my messages were never returned.

Bottom line: I returned the product to Consumer Depot at my expense(!) and I have yet to see a refund. This is one dodgy outfit. "

"Ordered a APC BR1500 UPS from this company. I originally wanted two of these so when the website wouldn't let me update my quantity to 2, I called them BEFORE I even ordered, asking if the item was new or refurbished. I was assured that the item was indeed new, but they only had one left, so I ordered it. Instructions tell you to charge it for 8 hours before use, I left it charging for more than 12 but when I finally turned it on, it was DEAD ON ARRIVAL. Wouldn't work at all. I foolishly thought that *maybe* if I left it charged in for a while longer it might do the trick, but this was not the case. Called the company up several times last week explaining my problem. Every single time, I get someone named Spencer (**** *** Spencer) who will not let tell him my problem in its entirety, cuts me off and says he's transferring me to "customer service". However, customer service is nothing more than an answering machine, I can never speak to a human being. I have called back to Spencer and said I don't want to bother him if there was actually another human being I could speak to but no one was getting back to me about this defective item I've been sold, however he TRULY doesn't care and just transfers me into the answering machine again. In the meantime, the 14 day return policy is fast approaching and, even if I finally talk to someone, I will have to pay the shipping on something that weighs 30lbs that shouldn't have been sold to me in the first place. I think this is a one man glorified eBay operation, worse than alot of eBay sellers frankly and this one man doesn't care about selling broken equipment for a quick profit. I will be calling my credit card company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."
