"I'm very unsatisfied with my purchase from CoolerGuys. Recently I had purchased one of their cases (SilverPro Gamer Case 2 with Window) because I was planning on building my own system.
I ordered the case on a Saturday, hoping that it would be shipped out on Monday. I REALLY needed it to be shipped on Monday because I had parts from NewEgg that I ordered the same day comming and needed the case to put them in. Well, the case wasn't shipped until Wednesday, which meant that I had to wait a while for the case. Unfortunately, my case arrived around a week after my parts did, which really screwed me over because NewEgg won't return my processor, they'll only repair it. The processor I had purchased from NewEgg was defective, and instead of refunding it they now can only replace it, because I had to wait a week after the parts from NewEgg came to actually build my computer since CoolerGuys couldn't get my case out fast enough.
Then there comes how well everything fit into the computer. When I opened the case up, I saw that all of the case fans were installed. I really wished they wouldn't have done this, because it made mounting my motherboard a pain. Also, I wanted to use a Thermaltake Volcano 7 as a HSF. Well, one of the case fans was right in the way of where the Volcano 7 would come up from the motherboard. I tried to move the fan, but the screws were so tightly screwed in that I only ended up stripping one of the screws trying to remove it from the case. To my dismay, I cut the fan out, because there was no way that my HSF would fit with it in there, and with the screw being stripped from me trying to get it to come out, there was no other way for me to get it out.
Needless to say I can't get the parts to work correctly that I purchased from NewEgg, and everybody that I had look at my computer couldn't figure out what was wrong, so I decided to get a refund on the NewEgg parts. As I had already stated, NewEgg will not refund my processor because it was purchased OEM and CoolerGuys were too slow shipping my case. So I have a processor sitting around I can't use now. I can't return the case because of me cutting out the case fan that was screwed in so damn tight it wouldn't come out. So now I have this case from CoolerGuys just sitting around.

"I purchased a window kit and a lighting kit from this company, Everything arrived nicely packaged and in working order. A+ The prices could have been a little better, but i feel sometimes the little price diffrence pays for the better service you get from some of the other onlnie stores. Highly Recomended. One side note on the window kit though, the adhesive blocks that come with it don't look very attractive, the rubber stripping is much better looking. Hence i've had to go out and purchase rubber stripping from another store as coolerguys.com does not carry it. But hey thats not coolerguy's fault, just an opinion on one of the procuts they sold. once again A+++ company"

"I ordered a Thermaltake Volcano 7+, as well as some Arctic Silver III and a CPU shim, from them on a Monday, and was curious as to why I didn't get a UPS tracking number by the end of the next day, as it is stated that all orders ship by noon the day after the order was placed. I emailed them, and was promptly informed that the item was out of stock, but they were expecting more on that Friday. They also upgraded my shipping. I had no problem with this, as the Volcano seems to be difficult for anyone to keep in stock right now. It shipped a day earlier than they said it would, and got here on Monday. I don't think I would have got it faster if it was in stock when I ordered it. Everything arrived as advertised in good condition. I've recieved responses to every email I sent them, within a day. Maybe some of you were disatisfied with their custom case work, but that's the chance you take with custom work. I found their selection to be more than decent, their products to be reasonably priced, and their service second to none when compared to other online vendors I've dealt with. I'm definitely a satisfied customer."

there was a surprise with the enermax 80mm fan that i got. it came as a surprise to me that they feature an adjustable fan speed. This was NOT advertised on the product. There is no harm in the fact that it has this feature, but i think someone mentioned already that they got screwed over by a Wind Tunnel case that was not advertised correctly. "

"I had hoped this had gone as smoothly as it seems it has for the majority of the posts, but it hasn't. I sent them the money one the 19, recieved and email promptly but i didnt recieve my package and when i went to track it i found out that my heatsink and fan has been delivered to some guy named hoover in South Carolina and i live in Indiana. I faxed them and emailed them of the problem and have not recieved any news of my fan. I will be keeping my promise to them, to fax and email them everyday until i get my computer parts. Very Disappointed!!"
