"This order only contains three round ide cables and a cpu fan. 4 days after order I "e-mail'ed" to find out my tracking number and they informed me that a part is out of stock and will not be in till the end of the week. Told them to ship without it and that took 3 days to go through...7 days now. Then I finally recieve a trakcing number scheduled for delivery 8 days from now. Total of 15 days for parts I needed. I am on the east coast...but this is not acceptable to me."

"First off, I must say Coolerguys has EXCELLENT customer service via email. They answer within the first day, or maybe a few hours on weekdays, but they don't answer on weekends or holidays. The pictures on their website are also not all that well put there.

I placed an order for a Lian-Li PC65 case w/blowhole, a Swiftech MCXC370 Socket A heatsink w/ Delta 60mm fan, an Socket A non-conductive XP shim, and a 3 gram tube of Arctic Silver 3. When I recieved my order, just about everything had a problem. First off, the case was BLACK, instead of Silver, as was pictured on their website. The Swiftech heatsink had a bunch of finger prints and smudges on the bottom, and was packaged with styrofoam, so there were bits of styrofoam stuck between the helecoid pins. The XP shim had just a small dent in it on one side, but it is still usable. They DID NOT include the Arctic Silver 3 for some reason.

Otherwise, everything was packed nicely. The screws, fan, and everything else that goes with the heatsink were in a bag, however the bag had a small rip in it. I made sure nothing fell out, and everything was there. The heatsink was not retail packaged, and had no directions though. The fan was packed nicely in a bag. The case was packed as most cases in the retail box, and with bubble wrap on both sides.

Now, I had to use some metal polisher called Flitz to get the finger and smudge prints off the copper base and to make it shiny. I then put the shim between 2 pieces of cardboard to flatten it more.

I emailed them telling them about the mistakes, and they said they would have the UPS guy pick up the BLACK case, and they would ship out the SILVER case and Arctic Silver 3. It was on labor day weekend, so they didn't respond until about Tuesday, or Wednesday. So, the UPS guy picked up the BLACK CASE that week.

I recieved the SILVER case today, and the Arctic silver 3 was in a nice little bag taped to the top of the case on the bag.(I also inquired that they did this, so that it would be in one box.)So, everything was correct this time. There are a few marks of black stuff on the case, but I can get those off easily and I don't think it was Coolerguys fault.

So, I have mixed feelings about Coolerguys. I don't know if I'd order from them again, and if I did, I'd probably call them to order so I could make sure everything was right the first time around. I would say that they need to work on their packing skills, and on their website with the pictures. I think they need to improve their packing skills by packing everything just a little more better.

So, overall, Coolerguys are a good company, and are not people who don't care about you. I would not suggest to order from them if you are in a hurry, but if you don't need the items right away like me, then it's all up to you.

"I highly reccomend these guys, great prices and service. I ordered a case from them for $129.95. A day or so after i placed the order, i saw it go on sale for $99.95, so a quick call and my card was credited that differance. Fast shipping, Great products, and just friendly people all around."

"Made an order for a Punisher Grill with free cold cathode, and two clear fans, which came with one free.

The package came in good condition, but the cold cathode light was missing. I emailed them about the problem, even though it was past the 3 days rule about missing products. Next day, I still hadn't recieved a reply, so I decided to call them, and talked to the kind people over there- The package was shipped to my sister who was temporarily staying in USA, but now she's come to Canada. The coolerguys people said that they would send it (the light) out asap, but when I said it had to be shipped to the Canadian address, it went into complications because UPS would charge a $20 USD brokerage fee just for shipping to Canada.

Thankfully, it is now being shipped via normal post office. Hopefully it'll arrive fine. Good customer support by phone, but I still believe an order should arrive with everything inside, saving both the company and customer time.

"Purchased "stealth" fans, and grills from coolerguys.
On the site it says buy 2 get one free, so I bought 2 93mm and 2 60 mm fans. I got my order, it included 2 92mm fans 2 60mm fans and my grills. BUT they did not send me my free fans. I emailed them twice over 3 days, no reponse, so I called and talked to "Jeff" (I think), he shipped my fans out that day. I have done business with them before and had NO problems. I am glad they took care of me, but I had to call them to do it.

"I have ordered from Coolerguys two times in the last two years.

Their selection was REALLY limited a couple of years ago, but they have expanded their inventory since then a great deal. If you are looking for some new cooling solution, you will probably find it there.

Their prices are very competitive. Their order processing is timely and shipping is fairly priced. Both my orders then and now have been handled quickly and everything has arrived in perfect condition. I will always shop them for my cooling needs.

Which leads me to something...

On my last order, I decided to buy some of their "Scratch and Dent" product. (Stuff that was returned for whatever reason.) And I have to say that everything I received was basically BRAND SPANKING NEW!

On a couple of items from S&D they took the time to repackage, but close inspection showed the equipment had not been used. The other half looked as if it was in the factory packaging and again, it looked as if it hadn't been used.

If you are considering buying from their S&D stock, go ahead. The prices are fantastic, and the product is totally worth it.

"I have been patronizing Coolerguys for 2 or 3 years now.

I have never had a problem with non-delivery or DOA items.

Mostly bought HSFs from them, they have a pretty good selection at reasonable prices.

Service is top notch too, the only problem is they don't offer too much stuff, as their business is kinda specialized.
