" Coolerguys have apparently decided to become "opt-out" spammers. Rather than honoring a person's marketing preferences, as expressed during the ordering process, they use the information customers provide them as part of the order process, to send all former customers bulk emails, in this case, a weekly "newsletter." And they also apparently choose to ignore complaints about this spamming, which is shameful.
Personally, I won't do business with companies that intentionally misuse private account information in order to send bulk emails, without getting specific permission first. I won't encourage it. If they're willing to do this type of spamming, what comes next?"

"Ordered an Antec P180 case around 3:30pm CST. An hour later it had shipped. This was my third order from coolerguys and each time the items shipped the same day and arrived in perfect shape. Their prices are competitive and they stock some really good stuff. I will continue to use them for my high end pc accessories."
"Overall my shopping experinces was good from the CoolerGuys. I purchased the ThermalRight XP-90, 120 mm fan, 92 mm fan, and several pcToys cables. Their prices were excellent and they had the Panaflo 92 mm fan that I wanted for my cooler .... I wanted to get a Panaflo fan for my case but they were out of stock of the 120mm Panflo so I went with a Mechatrnics fan. The Panflo fans are very good, quiet and reliable and CoolerGuys had them, which is more than I can say for most other retailers.
The only negative thing I have to say about my shopping experience is that it took to long for the order to be shiooed and for me to finally get my purchase. I orderd on a Saturday morning (June 18th) and the order was not shipped until Thursday late afternoon (23rd)and it was deleiverd on Monday (27th), so that was 9 days to get to me, which seemed excessively long time. I had not heard any feedback regarding the order by the 20th and so I sent some EMAIL and the response was not very informative and said the shipment was on hold and would ship in 2-3 days .. what does 2-3 days mean .. from the day I ordered it or from the EMAIL, they should have had a date not 2-3 days. On Wednesday I called and tried to clarify which day it was going to be shipped but I could not get through and i left a phone message(they don't have an 800 number either), I sent another EMIAL and got the same 2-3 day standard response. On Thursday I called three times and never talked to a person but only a voice messages saying that they were busy and could not asnwer .. so I left another message and asked when it was foing to shipped ..again, finally that Thursday afternoon I got a tracking order saying that it had been received at UPS ~ 5 PM. I live in Northern California and I bought many components on the intenet for my new system from Tennessee, Texas, Southern California and Washington State and all of the other products i bought came I ordered on that Saturday and they came by Wednesday of the next week ,, except this order from the CoolerGUys, and it was not the UPS time but the time in their facilty.
Anyway, I'd buy fromt them again as they had excellent proiducts and great prices but they do not have the swiftest of service and I could not get through the phone (no 800 number either) to them."
