"I have been using Crucial for about 3 years now and started using it at work. I now use Crucial for all my memory needs. It's fast, competitively priced and super easy to use. They really take the guess work out of finding the right memory for your computer. I just recently ordered memory for an old Mac I wanted to use for my children and it was a perfect fit. The Mac Book now runs much better and I extended it's use for another 2 years at the least.

"Crucial SSD direct from Crucial: predicted delivery the 16th and received on the 12th. Wonderful! I never use Windows so the Acronis software included was never used. I installed the SSD (I had a spare SATA cable) using an adapter that came with my case (I assemble my own computers).
I installed the Linux Mint 17 on the SSD and mounted the two existing HDD as directories in Linux. Now my Music, Pictures, and Videos are transparently available from the HDDs while the SDD handles the other stuff. I did use the Linux version of TRIM by putting "discard" in the options of the fstab file for mounting the SDD.
The SSD is working fine, no problems at all. Booting up dropped from 46 seconds to 23 seconds but some of that time may be software pauses built into the OS. Launching Chromium web browser takes just under ONE SECOND! Libreoffice takes longer, almost 3 seconds. Very very fast response. Only when something must be taken from the web does the response slow down - definitely not the fault of the SSD.

"They need better inventory to order connection. There were 2 items that would have worked on my system both had the same price. I ordered the first item and after the order was accepted for processing I got an email the following day that this item was back ordered for 7 business days. When I called the next business day and asked about the the second item I was told there were 3000 in stock. Had I know this up front or when I submitted the order I would have chosen the second item. After the customer rep had to check if he could ship the second item in place of the first they did get the second item shipped out but I got it a day latter than I needed it. I have dealt with companies much smaller than Crucial and they have systems that show inventory when searching products or at least when the order is placed it checks current inventory - not after the order has been accepted. The least that could be done is out of inventory orders have a person involved. Unless Crucial has so many out of stock items listed on their website that it would take a lot people to deal with out of stock orders but that would be an entirely different reason for my not to shop on your website"
