"I recently purchased a replacement stereo head for my RV. I've used Crutchfield many years ago for upgrading cars that I drove in the 70's and 80's, and I was glad to find them in still business. It's no wonder as the online information was completely accurate with all the specifications and details for me to make an informed product decision. I also was directed to a wiring device to allow for an easy way to connect my wire harness to the new unit. On top of that the prices were competitive and the delivery was fast. I will definitely remember them in the future and share my experience with friends."
"Bought a kenwood radio and after 3 months started having moisture behind the screen. My jeep is a pavement process top goes down doors off but has never been in the rain and does not leak. Was told by customer service that humidity can cause this issue but was then told that there was probably more than just humidity to blame and because of the moisture my warranty was void. End result if you buy a radio from Crutchfield remember humidity will void your warranty."
"The instructions in the past were loaded with images and descriptions. I don't think anyone doing the current directions has ever done any of this. I have to piece together YouTube videos and nothing is easy. If you guys produced videos and stored them on a vimeo or something along those lines, you could control access (you can also do it somewhat with YouTube). You guys have always been my solution, but I'm thinking I need to start looking elsewhere. Thanks."
"Easy to find products that fit my vehicle and there was a great selection. Ordered my radio and showed up the next day. Great Experience!"
"So I replaced my factory 1996 Tahoe radio with a Kenwood. Everything in the box was prefect and in great condition.
The wire harness they made was perfect. The install was easy and went with no issues. I will be making more purchases from them in the future. "
"I have trusted Crutchfield with all my audio needs ever since I could remember. You will not be steered wrong or given bad advice, at least I never have. No matter you may looking for, Crutchfield will recommend only the best. The customer service after the sale is unmatched. I never think twice were I will order from, it will always be, as it has always been Crutchfield. "
"Great quality and price with quick delivery. "
"I like the communication to make the right selection for my car and truck audio needs."
"Easy to order. Quickly delivered."
"Very knowledgeable and helpful. Never felt pressured to buy anything. I bought a receiver that was a scratch and dent, but I cannot find even the tiniest flaw anywhere on it. It’s in perfect condition! "
"I needed to replace the speakers in my Mercedes Sprinter, and ran out to the local electronics store and bought them. When I went to install the speakers, I found that there was no mounting hardware or wiring harness. I also found that I needed an adapter for the Sprinter. Needless to say, I returned them.
I got on line and found the same speakers for a lower price at Crutchfield and they included adapters, wiring, and instructions! I didn't use the live support, but it's nice to know that it's there in case.
Crutchfield will be my go-to from now on. "
"I needed to replace the factory stereo receiver in our 2005 Toyota Highlander, as the volume and tuning knobs were no longer working, which made it impossible to try to listen to anything without getting blasted out of the car. Since the car isn't worth a whole lot, I didn't want to dump the $1400+ dollars I was quoted by a local installer. I ordered a new receiver with the bells and whistles I wanted (mainly Bluetooth compatibility and working volume/tuner contols) along with the recommended wiring harness (thanks for that - it saved a lot of time/headaches) and we were able to do it all ourselves at less than 1/3 of the cost of the professional install. The only issue we did have was that the Posi-Taps that were sent were much too large for the two 22-24ga wires we were trying to tap into. They would roll and miss the pin when we used them as instructed. We were able to pre-pierce the 22ga wire to allow the pin to work and make a connection, but we had to knock-out a small section of insulation on the 24ga wire to be able to make a positive connection with what was sent with the order. The other problem we ran into was that the mounting brackets that were sent needed to be slightly modified to be compatible with the factory mounting brackets (there was an extension on the brackets sent with the unit that needed to be cut off due to where the metal supports flared out on the factory mount.) We did have to call tech support once for assistance in interpreting the location of the wire we were expected to tap into. We didn't even have to provide much information, as they immediately knew which order/vehicle model we were working with based on the phone number we were calling from, which was the same we gave when placing the original order. Anyhow, we were able to install the unit ourselves, it works perfectly, sounds great, and has many more bells and whistles than I was expecting to receive with a unit that was purchased unseen. We are already talking about ordering a similar unit to fit in our 1999 Chevy Suburban."
"Replaced the stereo radio in my 94 Ford Ranger with one of their recommendations. With their installation instructions it was a breeze! "
"I thought the website was very helpful to find the right replacement speakers for my vehicle. Enter the information and it points to options that will fit the vehicle and everything needed for installation. No confusion, no hassles. Just what I was hoping for. Shipping was quick, accurate and on-time."
"Will continue to do business with Crutchfield."
