"I terribly regret that I have ordered this Sauder Palladia Queen Platform bed in Select Cherry Finish. I got to know later that no return accepted for the opened bed product, otherwise I will surely return it!!!
1) It took me and my relatives a couple of days to assemble it. It is very difficult to do it. And nobody told me for the assembling you should have a large space. I had a hard time to manage it. I could not set it up in my sitting room, because I could not assemble it in my bedroom whick is not big enough for the "construction"
2) it is very heavy and clumsy bed I have ever seen. After your installation, you will never want to move it.
3) It smells badly for weeks and I am sure it is harmful to our health. I can still smell the pungent odor even now. I wonder how this product pass the test for selling in the US market.
4) re. bed itself, Board # J could not cover Board # N completely that makes some unfinished part can be seen. This is a bad design issue.
5) re. the headboard, it is too heavy and Board E and F are not strong enough. It should be made of real hard wood in stead of shaving board.
I hope Cymax can convey my feedback to Sauder and give me a positive reply. Sauder should compensate me for the above defects. I preserve the right to go to the Consumers Committee about it
In summary, this is my worst purchase ever. It took me a lot of time and efforts and I have to smell the harmful odor from it everyday. Because I could not return it, I have to grin and bear it. I strongly recommend Cymax will not sell this kind of beds any more! Especially do not sell it to an aged person and anyone whose living room is small.
Cymax should have informed your customers of how difficult to assemble these kinds of beds. This is very disappointing!

"The Sauder Harvest Mill TV Stand with Hutch was a great deal for the cost. I had been looking for a TV Media stand for some time and all of them were a lot more expensive than this one. It took about 2 hours to put it together but it looks great and I'm very pleased with the product. "

"This company really needs to change how they handle customers... I ordered a bunk bed with mattresses .. upon delivery I noticed that the mattresses were futons.. so I refused them. I actually called them that day to let them know and they replied with "you'll get an email with our response' I received one that day saying they could not refund items because they had been opened( false) and that I should try to sell them locally... WHAT?? who says that.. Then I called again to explain they were refused and untouched. And they say I would receive an with update. Nothing for a week so I called aftering talking to fedex and confirming items were return. They informed me they didn't have the trking number for item??? again what?? you shipped it... I provided the trking # and then received another email now informing me that the items had been damaged in transit and That "I" needed to call fed ex and file a claim.. they would hold items in warehouse for them to look at.
So, I did with confusion as to why I was doing this and not them. STILL NO REFUND! I then filed a complaint with BBB after that I received another email stating they were so sorry for confusion and that I would be receiving a small refund broken down like this:Original Purchase: $414.97
Restocking Fee: $82.99 (waived)
Outgoing Shipping Fee: $110.57
Return Shipping: 110.57
Total Refund Due: $193.82
FYI there was no shipping chafe in org. order.
How is this good customer service?????
It's not!!!! I would never recommend this company to anyone and will tell everyone about this experience.

"We bought a media center for our family room from Cymax, and we think it is great. It is the right size, performs its function well, and was easy to put together. We needed a piece of furniture to hold our router and wireless printer, so we decided on this one, and Cymax had the best price. We are satisfied and will probably shop with Cymax again."
