"I won this item (as well as an identical one) on the same day, April 18. Dakmart did not have these in stock. Received a response to my inquiry on 4/28 saying that they were awaiting them from the manufacturer and they would ship the next week. The next week came and went with no product. And I will agree with another reviewer...if anyone gives them bad Ebay feedback, they in turn leave extremely nasty feedback for the purchaser. I'll never do business with them again...no matter how good the deal seems. I'll post a follow up when this is resolved.
UPDATE:
I spoke with someone at Dakmart and he apologized that I should have been sent an email, but his supplier was waiting to get a better set than what was originally offered. True to his word, the items were shipped the next week and it was indeed a much better deal than I had originally purchased. I am very satisfied with the items, but not at all satisfied with the communication and the way the transaction was handled...I should have been given the option, up front, to either wait or get a refund. Better yet, they should not have auctioned an item they did not have on hand.

To cut along story short after several days of this I was accused of being a thief and supplying a fruadelent address so I asked him to contact the police and give them my (my address!!! yes the fraudelent one) and I would be more then happy to explain the situation. Please bear in mind I this is 2 days after the order. and I have no goods Needless to say just be carefull when you shop there. The matter is still ongoing

"Last November, I bought a watch from DakMart but I did not receive the one they pictured. They ignored me so I posted negative feed back.

The next thing I new, the owner threatened to slime me if I did not remove negative feedback I left.

They followed thru and slimed me, along with everyone else who has recently left negative feedback.

I have reported this to eBay, and I will follow up and let you know what they do, if anything.

E-Bay replied with a form letter. They don't do anything about this sort of trash no matter how blatant it is.

It is interesting to review DakMart's e-Bay feedback. Scroll down thru and read the negative feedbacks then click on the name of whomever posted it and read the feedback DakMart posted in retaliation. You will find that EVERYONE who had anything negative to say about DakMart was slimed in return and many filed follow ups complaining that DakMart behaved in this extortionate way.

I have all the information about this character and will gladly provide it to anyone who asks.

You might want to visit this forum thread on DakMart - there is a ling to the frauds and scams web site there as well.

"Pleas contact for mor information on this person
As after I had paid him and not received the watch after 7 days as promised
(Buy him in email I received to my question of how much for shipping told 5-7 days

No mention that he did not have the watch or when he could send it)

And it still was not going to be shipped he threatened to leave bad feed back

When I complained via papal He then refunded and claimed I had not paid

I had to contact eBay several times and am far from satisfied with the protection from “scam artists” like this who advertise goods to get the order the expect the customer to wait until he has the goods to ship

hi, I had a similar experience with this clown the other day. He did not ship my product 12 days after it was paid for. I contacted him and he said I owe 39.00 for shipping and not the listed 14.95. Anyways I threatened to file a complaint with the IFCC and within hours I had a refund but at the same time he filed a non paying bidder strike on me and left rude feedback. Watch out for sellers that deal this much with eBay because eBay will take there side before us. He has over 10,000 sales and that is big business for eBay. Also, I have been keeping an eye on there feedback and I have notice that eBay rolls off the number of feedback complaints for this seller in order to keep them looking like good dealers... watch there feedback profile. It was at 33 yesterday and it went back to 29 today and now it's up to 31... Leave it to eBay to protect there big sellers even though they rip people off... anyways, good luck... Jim...

"Dakmart advertised Uniden cordless phone as new but it was refurbished and one handset was not working properly. Tried to contact company but they did not answer E-mail. Upon leaving a negative feedback, Dakmart retorted with their own negative feedback with name calling. This company is not a reputable company. Will be contacting Ebay and Hannandale police and filing a fraud complaint."

"This is the worst merchant I have dealt with online. Do not by from these crooks. I was sent a tracking number the day after I placed my order. The tracking order was voided the same day. MY emails asking about my order were never answered. Ten days later ai emailed a cancelation as all I ever got on the phone was an answering machine. I bought the item elsewhere. A week later the item arrive and I refused delivery. I disputed the charge on my credit card when this company wouldn't respond. Two months later the company issued a credit minus 20% and shipping. This came to half of what I bought the unit for elswhere. They lied to the credit card company saying they had shipped the item the next day. I documented the entire matter to Dakmart. They would never ackowledge any of the actual facts such as the copy of my cancelation I sent them. They just asserted this was their "return" policy. Be forewarned."

"I purchased a Denon 3803 receiver which they said was in stock. I paid with PayPal and then got no response from them what ever. I finally sent an email and then Kevin wrote back and said they had sent several emails to me because my PayPal address wasn't verified (it is) and what was I doing. I sent a reply asking them not to ship it and to issue a refund. Kevin very rudly replied that they certainly would not ship it and it was to late for a refund.
I have disputed the charge with my card issuer and am going to send all of this to the Flordia Attorney General's Office.

I STRONGLY RECOMMEND BUYING ELSE WHERE.

"I purchased a Uniden Cordless telephone from Amazon.com. Within a minute of placing the order I received an e-mail from Amazon confirming my order. Following that I received an e-mail from Dakmart saying they would be fulfilling the order and would ship the week of November 15th. I received the telephone on Monday November 15th, 2004. The phone was not in the correct box, it had scratches on both handsets and the manual had a sticker on it saying "refurbished" however the receipt said "new".

Too bad for Dakmart, I happen to live in the same City (Fort Lauderdale) where they operate. So I take a drive to the address listed on the receipt. It is nothing more than a storage warehouse.

This place is a scam. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS BUISINESS.


All I can say is thank you American Express for giving me my credit.

Item was recieved broken. I emailed seller about what I should do with the item. Seller said they never recieved the email until I got it from backups for them.

I finally fixed the item myself, and then left feedback, then the seller left negitive feedback for me not claiming anything about our issues.

Talking to the seller on the phone, they were very negitive, and dont really care about customers.

Probably great ebayer when item is working, but their customer service skills need some help. If you bid on an item just hope that you do not have to contact them.

"I wish I'd found this website before buying from this firm. In March I spent over $500 on what I thought was a new Nakamichi stereo. Dakmart confirmed to me that it would work in the UK. Once it arrived it turned out I'd need to buy a new transformer for it to work - this cost me $180. Once I got that from Nakamichi and set it all up the stereo didn't work. I returned the stereo to Dakmark which cost me another $180 in shipping. It's now September and they refuse to refund me my money or send me a working stereo so I'm nearly $1000 out of pocket. I am going to take this up with "Internet Fraud Complaint Center" as they are obviously making a lof of money out of selling faulty goods."

I received a pair of refurbished headphones that didn't work out of the box. When I asked to return them, I received the following response:

of course it states refurbished to new with warranty

The term refurbished was buried in the item description on their website (which is not where I placed the order). Very misleading not to state that in the item description. Also very misleading to sell faulty goods then rely on Sony to clean up their mess.

I finally got a new pair from Sony in August, two months after originally placing the order. All to save about $10 on the price (which I spent shipping it to Sony). Ah well, I should have read the glowing reviews on this site before I placed the order with them.
