Purchase made for "Coleman PMP400 Brand New Coleman 400/800 Watt Power Inverter /Warranty" for uBuy it now! Price of $26.00 with Google Checkout. When purchasing with Google Checkout you are given an "uBid.com Early Adapter Discount." which is "To get $10 off your order of $20 or more from these stores, enter the coupon code listed below after clicking Google Checkout." - http://www.google.com/buy/m.html
This item is 3lbs and "Shipping & Handling (SPECIAL): $11.06" so Total came out to: $27.06
Now after my order was cancelled I went back to uBid and guess what? "Quantity Available : 5" Yes, the item is still availible and the auction/buyitnow price is still the same. But guess what happens when you checkout with Google Checkout, no more $10 off $20. Very disappointed and will never do buisness with again. Very scamish to me."
"THE WORST EXPERIANCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH A COMPANY RUN RUN RUN"
"Purchased online and paid immediately via paypal. No product received. Contacted seller. Advised not in stock at this time. No notifcation to me about this when they accepted my payment. Only found out by wondering when the "has shipped notice" would come and then finally contacting to ask when the item would ship. I suspect they advertise a lot of things that are not in stock. I have seen other bad reports on this seller, especially on eBay. I was considering reordering item when they confirmed it was in stock but now I am too wary to deal with them."
"What a horrible experience! I purchased a sony digital voice recorder through e-Bay from this store on February 7, 2006. I mailed a postal money order the next day(February 8, 2006, which was received and cashed by Dakmart within a week. I received three e-Mails from them saying they had not received the money order. I mailed them a copy of the postal money order as proof which did stop the threat of reporting me for non-payment. Finally, after repeated calls and e-mails, they did find that my money order had been "posted in another account". I waited another month before they issued a refund which I just received yesterday. When I left them a negative feedback, they had the audacity to leave a blistering one followed by contact to "mutually" withdraw the feedbacks. Their feed back was retaliatory and absolutely without merit. I had 100% positive feedback until that point. even with my reputation at stake as an honest and honorable buyer, I stand by my assertion that this was a "horrible experience" and that "I will never purchase anything from this store again". Buyers Beware!"
"For the full story, see
http://www.guerandel.plus.com/dakmartscam.htm
Basically, I bought an item from them on ebay 'but it now', paid immediately via paypal and had delivery confirmation email next day. [I had previously emailed to check shipping to the UK and had a quick reply.]
No goods arrived, and every week or so, I emailed but got no response. After 40 days, I emailed one last time and said that If I didn't get my goods, I would have to apply for a refund from PayPal and leave the appropriate feedback.
Within hours of this email, I got terrible negative feedback from them, followed by a blackmail saying thay if I withdrew my comment, they would withdraw theirs. When I refused, they then repoeted me to ebay for non payment [even though I had a paypal receipt and subsequent refund.
A little futther research shows they do this to almost every ebay customer who complains about dakmart's bad service. I know this because I have been systematically contacting ebay menbers who they have left bad feedback against.
All have the same story.

"After noticing that almost literally none of the comments left were positive (after winning the eBay auction), I sent dakmart.com a polite email explaining my concerns. They responded within the hour, explaining that less than 3% of their transaction were me with negative criticism. Having the choice of either sending the payment or suffering my own negative feedback, I chose the former...and regretted nothing. Any email I sent was responded to incredibly quickly; tracking info was provided shortly after payment was marked received; and the item arrived on time and in perfect condition. I honestly recommend these people, and have no problem purchasing from them again."
"Dakmart was my first negative ebay transaction after over 80 great transactions as both seller and buyer.
The item was defective. I contacted seller, waited for return ID and then I shipped the item back. Item cost: $23.25 shipping $9.89, plus my shipping back to seller. Seller refunded only after repeated reminders. Then seller refunded $18.60. Seller also threatened to retaliate against any negative ebay feedback, and that is what seller did.
Dakmart also send a e-mail a notification that I hadn't paid for my product. Obviously there is paypal proof that it was paid for, they also don't ship without having received the funds. It is all part of discouraging buyers to leave negative feedback. I wonder how many unsatisfied buyers were scared away by Dakmart's bullying methods. Not a good company. Prices great, but I would not deal with that company again. I am also a bit sick of those steep shipping and handling prices. Do brick and mortar stores charge extra for having the sales person give you the product?

"DAKMARK-what a nighmare! Do NOT and i repeat do NOT buy anything from this store.
I had purchased a SONY SRF-M80V Armband Radio. when i opened the box, it was a different model [a crappy piece of junk]. obviously, i returned it. However the store only refunded a fraction of the amount i paid. customer service here is a joke. Dan the CFO, what a jerk, gave me some bull-sh*t excuses to why they couldn't refund the full amount [i didn't have an original box for the unit....which i never received. this product was refurbished. it came in a brown cardboard box].
anyway, it go on.....
Please be extremely careful when dealing with this company. I would avoid having anything to do with DAKMART. I learned very quickly that, customers are NEVER right nor they care for.

"After over 500 transactions on eBay I had come to believe that the community was totally made up of fair-minded, reasonable members. I should have known, that just like in the real world, I'd occasionally bump into a greedy, manipulative and totally worthless piece of humanity.
I purchased a watch from Dakmart to be given as a Christamas gift to my grandson. I paid within minutes of completeing the "Buy It Now" purchase. Not having received the item after 2 1/2 weeks, and not having been contacted by Dakmart, I e-mailed them, requesting a shipping update. A few days later they responded, saying that the product was found to be damaged and that they would issue a refund. With no refund forthcoming, I requested the same from PayPal and received it within 24 hours. I then left politely worded "neutral" feedback for Dakmart.
What I received from Dakmart (within hours this time)was blistering, slanderous and totally false negative feedback - and - a report to eBay identifying me as a non-paying bidder!
I owe Dakmart a debt of thanks for the slap in the face that brought me back into the real world."
"I purchased a watch from Dakmart on 11/08/2005 and immediately paid them via PayPal. After 5+ weeks of sending them emails and phone calls, I finally got my money back after filing a claim with PayPal. All I got from them was a lot of stalling and runarounds. They claim to be a Platinum seller on ebay. I guess that doesn't mean anything. Do yourself a favor, don't buy from them unless you want a lot of aggravation and wasted time. And no product."
"I ordered a Seiko watch from them through Amazon in October planning to give it as a November birthday present. Never got the watch. All my e-mails were ignored. I had to claim for a refund to Amazon. Almost 2 months later in December Dakmart claimed they were not shipping the watch because they could not input a tracking # to Amazon. Sounds exactly like previous stories.
What scam and arrogance!
Never deal with them. Hope they will be kicked out of Amazon."
"I ordered a seiko watch thru Amazon from this company. Amazon confirmed their transfer of my money to Dakmart was completed on 11-30-05. Not having received any confirmation of its receipt after several days I attempted to contact Dakmart via E-mail and by telephone. They would not answer e-mail and have manipulated their telephone rota system to automatically terminate your call before you can reach a live person. After several e-mails they began responding and claimed they were not shipping the watch because they could not input a tracking no. to Amazon and "we must provide proof of the shipment( tracking#) or we will not receive payment from Amazon." Amazon then reconfirmed payment to Dakmart had been processed & Dakmart was obligated to ship the item or provide a refund. Amazon eventually sent me an e-mail I subsequently sent to Dakmart which outlined this obligation and which provided an address at which Dakmart could contact them. Dakmart refuses to ship the watch and refuses to provide a refund because they do not have my credit card no. Apparently alternative ways to give me a refund are off the table.
Dakmart also gave me an extension I could use to reach them. When I tried I got the automated msg. he was out of the office but would return my call. I gave my name and number but, you guessed it, never received a call from them.
I have transmitted a request to ****@**** that this matter be investigated. I also submitted copies of all e-mails sent back & forth to Dakmart and other related info. I hope it will be investigated and will be done thoroughly. In the meantime I am waiting out the period Amazon specifies before they act upon cases involving an "independent" seller. This is a necessary step toward even submitting a request for a refund.
I won't attempt to list my suspicions of what Dakmart's motives are or why they steadfastly refuse to fulfill their obligation. Your guess is probably better than mine. I post this only to inform you that dealing with Dakmart could well result in the worst shopping experience you've had. Think long and hard before buying from them or, indeed, from Amazon's other "independent" sellers.
When this matter is concluded, I will send the info I have accumulated to the IFCC and to the Fla. Attorney General. Perhaps if we all present appropriate authorities with the facts concerning our attempts to obtain fair treatment from Dakmart we will save someone a similar experience. "
"I purchased a seiko watch from Dakmart on November 17th. The watch cost about $125 with about $10 in shipping. The company projected a long shipping projection of anywhere from November 25th-30th. The 30th came and went and a week later I had still not received my watch. At this time I decided to start checking feedback on this company and to my horror read about all the people on both ebay and Amazon who had terrible experiences.
Upon reading these I attempted to contact Dakmart on both their email and customer service lines. They have no customer service really, just a toll telephone account with a answering message set up. I received no comments back from them and immediately took the issue to Amazon, who within minutes of receiving my email told me they will be issuing me a refund for me. The next week on the same day I received contact from both Amazon and Dakamrt; Darkmart who said they were cancelling my order because they didn't have any tracking information through Amazon, and Amazon to let me know Dakmart was putting through a refund and my claim was being closed. I received my refund the next day.
What I love about Dakmart is that they removed funds from accounts immediately and then wait weeks or evem months to resolve issues and refunds. It sounds like they're doing the bare minimum to stay afloat as a company. In this day and age, I don't think I've ever experienced such indiferrence when ordering products from a company in my life. "
"This product is sold by dakmart.com in the online auction at overstock.com. I won this item on September 28th and I paid for it right away. But they never sent a confirmation for my payment. Nor did they reply my 3 emails. Even up to this day (October 6th) Finally, I decided to give them a call. The reason they gave me for not answering my emails are because my emails are automatically bounced back. MY SCHOOL'S EMAIL??? And by the way, I did not receive any bounced emails from dakmart and I always receive bounced emails' information, if my emails indeed get bounced. I'd understand if it is hotmail or gmail but it is MY SCHOOL'S EMAIL for goodness sake!! And they did not give a reason for not shipping it out. They put me on hold for 8 minutes, and then returned to tell me that they sold 8 units TODAY, so they ran out of it. Wow, 8 minutes to find out they ran out of stock. And they must have thought that I am stupid enough to believe my luck is that bad. I just called at the wrong day of the month, huh? They will, however, refund my money (NO OPTION for a rescheduled delivery??). Well, I really hope they mean it this time. If they did not, I'll update my comment on them from being an attempted thievery to REAL THIEVERY. "
"Entered an online order and paid immediately with
paypal. A week later no acknowledgement from the
seller. He has my money and doesn't answer phone or e-mail. Website claims to ship within 24 hours except for certain manufacturers which this is not!
