"I have been ordering from dx.com now for around 4 years. I have ordered electronic gadgets and parts and also some small camping supplies. Prices have always been very good, around half what I would need to pay to get them locally.
It seems dx.com does not have a big stock so they need to order the items from manufacturers. This added to the shipping time means the orders take normally a very long time, average is probably around a month from the order date. But as shipping is free that is (almost) acceptable.
A couple of times the items have had problems (manufacturing errors) and every time the support staff at dx.com have responded promptly and professionally and we have always managed to settle the problem satisfactory by either them agreeing me to return the defective item for replacement or by offering store credit.
All in all I continue to order from them and recommend to others too.

They takes between 10 to 30 days since you place your order to recieve an order (shipped to France). In some previous orders i had some issues with missing/wrong items and always i got a fast response with fully refund of the items. You only need to contact to the customer service, via ticket or live chat!
Overall they have good prices with a excelent customer service, you just need to be patient. Since a delay more of seven days an email is sent with the info about the issue.
For this order, an unexpected delay occurs due to the chinese new year festivals, but they keep me under information and always with the posibility of change/cancel the order if i'm not in the will of recieve the order with delay, even customer service contacted personally with me to complain about the issue."

"My order was the wrong quantity and was sent from China. Could take up to 15+ days.
I know there is cheap parts made in China, but they are worthless if they arrive next month obviously. This was slightly important to a schedule. I believe this vendor is projecting themselves as a US store and using the net as their US outlet.
Very costly to my build. Need to buy the parts twice now.

They will take your money when items are not in stock (this is called STEALING), but never tell you the items are not in stock unless you ask. Neither the product page or my order confirmation email noted items were not in stock.
Furthermore, after finding out that items in my order were not in stock, I canceled my order. Then, they shipped my CANCELED order 2 days after I canceled it (funny how the items suddenly became available after I canceled). Again, this is THEFT. My offer of a partial refund to resolve the issue was refused, but they did offer a RIDICULOUS $3.00 credit on a future order - which I will NEVER be placing because I will NEVER shop at this sorry excuse for a merchant ever again.
Most of the positive reviews are VERY SUSPICIOUS...beware. Note how all the positive reviews have poor grammar and are usually very short. They also tend to be very similar in what they say. I am quite disappointed that resellerratings.com is allowing this to happen. I bet if they checked the IP addresses of the positive reviewers (which, according to their privacy policy, they do record) they would find that most of them are from the same place.
If you remove all the fake reviews their rating would be a more realistic 1-2."

"My experience with DX is okay. There are a lot of cheap articles in their shop. I ordered some bike lights for training at night.
Sending times are really long, it took about a month. This was not bad because I knew this beforehand, but you should definitely take this into account.
Product performance was good considering the price. Some of the articles I ordered quickly showed failure, which was quite annoying. Luckily customer service was good and refunded me most of the money."
