"One of these days I'll learn to check review site such as ResellerRatings before making an online purchase with a new site. First issue was a one week delay on my faucet, "till new stock comes in". Then, the spooks at Google picked up on my searches and steered me to a less expensive option. OK, less than $10 less, but thought I would give DI an opportunity to match, or come close. Phone calls have been greeted with a cheery "the office is now closed" and an email has not been answered in two days. Oh well, at least I paid with VISA, in case things really break bad.

"Liars and sheisty. Would not respond to numerous emails. Was told after 30 days from processing order that it would ship soon. Finally got tracking # 4 days later, which means they once again lied about ship date.
Would NEVER purchase from them again.There are too many legit companies out there who follow up and deliver when promised!"

When I first ordered, the service I received was good and helpful... too bad my order wasn't processed until three weeks later.
It's been over a month and I still haven't received my item. Apparently when I first ordered the item it was on back order and noone bothered to tell me. All they said was, "expect to see it in 7 to 10 days. So, I had lined up my contractor for two weeks later to allow for ample time. Well, as it stands I have had to reschedule my counter install twice because I'm still waiting on my sink. EXTREMELY frustrating. The worst part is, the second time I called they said, "I'll make sure it gets shipped today." I had to call a third time to get a tracking number so I could know where my product was at, and the day it was shipped was FOUR days after it was promised! I now have very little faith in this company and will not purchase from again. I caution anyone before they purchase anything on-line from Decor Island, and have deadlines."

"Misleading business practices! Ordered a pedestal sink, showed a picture of complete sink and pedestal, invoice did not say sink only, under specifications in fine print gave another item number for the pedestal, but no price. Ends up that when I called in to confirm order that I am told it will be an additional $40.95. Asked to speak to a supervisor. He told me he could not give me a break on the pedestal, but possibly a sales person could. So what does a supervisor do? Then salesperson told me the break was to not have any additional handling charge! No shipping charge, but "handling" was $69. I cancelled the order! I can do as well elsewhere where all charge are up front."
"Ordered a sink they said was in stock. 2 weeks later, still no sink. I called and was told that it had shipped last week and to expect it any day. I asked for a tracking # to be email to me which they agreed to do. 2 days later and still no tracking #. I called again today, they gave me the tracking # and when I checked it showed that it had been shipped 2 days earlier. If I wouldn't have called the first time I doubt if they would have shipped it to begin with. Calling them is a joke too. Transfer to 3 different people each time I called and was on hold for nearly an hour."
"I ordered 4 items from Decor Island. The total was 50 cents to little for the free shipping so I added two small items to my order to bring the order up to the minimum amount for free shipping. Three days latter I received a phone call from Decor Island saying the two small items were out of stock. However, after a moment it became obvious the items were not out of stock, but they just didn't like me ordering small items to get the free shipping. They became very rude on the telephone telling me I would have to order more items and that their free shipping should have been raised to over $100.
Stay away, any company that won't honor it's own policies is fraudulent. So much for their "Guaranteed Satisfaction".

"A toilet broke in an income property that I own. It was a special size and rough opening. Decor island said they had four in stock. I tried to get overnite delivery, they said it wasn't available and that it would take seven days. There is a 2nd bath in the property but it's on a different floor. The tenant has health issues. I called back in 7 days and the toilet had not been shipped. They said that it would be rush ordered and shipped immediately and appologized. To make a long story short they never had the toilet in stoch to begin with and couldn't get it. After wasting three weeks messing with their BS I ordered it from home depot and received it 5 days later. I would NEVER do business with Decor island again."
"Decor Island is a company that I order from repeatedly. I am an NYC plumber and By using Decor Island I can offer my customers better looking quality merchandise that what' s in the local big box stores. If I don't want to wait for UPS I can usually pick up my order from the warehouse by the next day. (I know you have to be in New York to do this.) The point is Decor Island is a great place and very reliable to deal with. They're far less expensive than the big box stores too."
"I ordered a Kohler medicine cabinet advertised as free shipping and a great price. Before they process, however, they sent an emai indicating they request I pay an additional $14.99 for insurance OR pay $69 for shipping--my choice. The item was received just as described. I have no issues at all with the product. However, it was not going to work for what I needed so I printed out their 4 page return process and called in accordance with the instruction. The return policy states that you return items at your own expense and does say you will be charged a minimum of a 15% restocking fee. However, when you call, the restocking fee is 35%. In other words, I ordered a $157 item and paid $173 for it (I agreed to do this when emailed about the insurance). To return, I will get back $102 (minus the cost of their shipping to me) and additionally pay a 35% restock fee plus I will pay $70 to ship back and they encourage you buy insurance because if damaged in shipping, they will not accept it. Read the return policy. All of this is in the policy, but just make sure you are willing to risk buying it and keeping it--or getting basically nothing back on return. By the time, I pay shipping, insurance and restocking fee, I will be better off or at least close to breaking even, to donate it to Good Will. (figuring it all up--I will actually LOSE money to send them back the cabinet for them to resell.
Additionally when I spoke to customer svc by phone about returning it, they had to call me back to give me a number to use in order for them to accept the return. I was told when to expect the call and they verified the phone number. It as been over a week now and I am still waiting on that call--over a week late. Keep in mind you have to have any return back to them within 24 days....) If you KNOW you will not return anything ordered, then use them. The product was good. But if there is any question AT ALL--go somewhere else."

I have placed an order through Google checkout, got a confirmation message, never heard anything from the merchant again.
Two weeks later called to check the order status, the representative was quick to find that the "order was closed".
- What does it mean - "closed"?
- Can be that the product is out of stock
Nobody cared to let me know that they break the sales contract. Unreliable merchant.
