"UN HAPPY CUSTOMER !!! DELL CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY VERY BAD !!!!! I HAVE ACCOUNT WITH DELL N SO DO MY MOTHER 2 DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS WITH 2 DIFFERENT EMAILS N PW , MY MOTHER BOUGHT A TV FOR ME AS A BIRTHDAY GIFT . A MONTH LATER I GET A BILL FOR TV THAT I DID NOT EVEN ORDER OR GIVE PERMISSION TO PUT IT ON MY ACCOUNT !! SO I HAD 2 CALL DELL 5 TIMES !! FIND OUT WHAT HAPPEN HOW ANY 1 CAN USE JUST UR NAME N EMAIL ORDER STUFF ONLINE WITH EVEN HAVE UR USER NAME N PW . THEY STILL CAN'T EVEN FIGURE OUT HOW IT HAPPEN . SEEMS LIKE THEY HAVE A FLAW IN THERE SYSTEM WHERE ANY CAN CAN ORDER N BILL UR FRIENDS OR FAMILY THAN TAKES FOREVER TO GET A LIVE PERSON N THEY ACT LIKE THEY DON'T KNOW THERE OWN JOB N TOLD ME WE GOT NO FLAWS IN YOUR DELL SYSTEM . "As good as Dell products are, their service is equally BAD! You get bounced from one dept to another only to find every step gets you someone whose english is worse than the previous. Worst of all I was LIED to. They apologize prolifically but do NOTHING to resolve the issue they are so eager to apologize for. I know the information I was given was a LIE because I've seen field technicians do exactly what they said couldn't be done. Wasted a day, got no where, was lied to."

"Extremely disatisfied with the delivery/shipping process. I was given an expected order delivery date, and was contacted to arrange a delivery time. Well I specifically drove my car to work, paid for parking, and waited all day for nothing to arrive. Not even a call to say the day had changed. On top of that, the dell order status website actually stated that the laptop was delivered! So the system either is completely wrong, guesses, or takes the courier's "estimate". Finally, after waiting all day and trying the customer service helpline, I can't get through because they follow Eastern States time - so if they say they'll deliver from 12-5pm and it's 5.01 and you try calling - you're out of luck. Terrible."

"I have purchased an Inspiron 660, windows 8 desktop tower from Dell. I received a windows 7 on 6-26-2013. I called Dell customer service, they said I'll receive a windows 8 in 7 days. I strong stated it, before send it out, make sure that is a right desktop what I ordered. Then I received a windows 7 again on 7-9-2013. I called them again. Finally, I got a windows 8 on 7-15-2013. I don't understand why Dell kept sending me windows 7? They repeated the same mistake. that let me feel Dell was played a game with me. I just purchased one desktop. But I have asked my boss take 3 times day off for stayed home wait for FedEx delivery. finally, I brought two desktop to FedEx for a returning!! I spend so much time on it. That was really ridiculous online shopping from Dell!!!"

"Great hardware but LAUSY customer service willing to steal your credit card information - yes I'm talking about dell.com.

Ordered one laptop paid for two, the other one went to the guy at the customer service. Smart guy.

If you are dealing with Dell Home they have offshore customer support that is absolutely hopeless... the business side is way better!

"Worst customer service EVER! You're fine if your covered under warranty but screw you if you're not. I have a year old printer that just recently fell out of warranty and now I'm having a first time problem with. I called into customer service and they completely refused to help me. I asked if they maybe thought I may need new ink and they wouldn't even answer me! The only thing that came out of their mouth was, "a service fee will be charged for further assistance." Oh and by the way, I just bought a $3,000 laptop from them in November. And I can't even get some advice to fix a small issue? Screw you, Dell. You've lost my business."

"I was interested in purchasing the Dell XPS 18 tablet. However, as the chat person confirmed, they do not have stockists or showrooms, or accept returns. Spend £1000 on a touchscreen item I cannot see, never mind touch? That would be insane! Off to buy Sony Vaio Tap 20 instead."

"Terrible company, terrible customer service. Been in contact 10+ hours, numerous representatives that are foreign and don't speak English very well. The computer I purchased was an Inspiron Dell laptop and within a week of purchase had hardware and headset issues. Been in contact since then, sent my computer in, Dell reps take over my computer a dozen times. Seeking a replacement or refund, but I have never seen a company stick to their guns over a defective product as much as this company. Just consider your money gone if you ever buy a Dell, you'll be lucky if it lasts half a year."

"Dell has to have the absolute WORST customer service on the planet. I can't believe a company this size can still operate when it seems all of their employees (I was transferred NINE times) can't seem to duplicate an order. All I wanted was to order the same exact thing I did last time and apparently this was equal to asking their employees to write a dissertation on quantum physics. I am so completely frustrated I can hardly see straight. I am shocked at the sheer ineptitude of EVERY SINGLE PERSON I was transferred to. I HATE having to work with Dell and I usually avoid this at all costs, but duty calls.... If you can buy something else from someone else, I highly recommend you do so. My assigned sales rep can't even answer the phone, let alone return a telephone call. I didn't think I could ever be able to confuse so many people at once. I groan every time we have to order one of their products, as the ordering process is about as fun as...well...fill in the blank. Hands down- worst ever."

"Do not buy anything with Dell logo on it. I bought alienware for 1700$ and spent 700$ for out of warranty parts and support. Still my laptop is broken HDD failed and they demand 450$ more to fix it. Please google how much is 1TB HDD, its about 100$.

They use purolator to ship in Canada which is a company whose service is at par with Dell's. Birds of same feather

"Worst customer service ever. Took almost 3 weeks to get my service Tgag and warranty and virus scanner up. They had the wrong computer model under the tags number and after sending an invoice, reciepts , a photo of the bios on the screen they ended up still again! changing it to a different model again?? Everything is to much trouble. I spoke to several people and each told me conflicting stories even one said I dont have a warranty another just said only ring if some thing goes wrong, even though I paid for this?? Average computer very heavy, my Acer was way better and is still going after 5 years."

"Ordered a sharp smart tv which was supposed to be in stock at a good price. Few days later was informed about a delay with delivery date no later than 4/16. Received a phone call to verify address and that this would be for private use without further details. Operator just hung up after info was given. Just received another mail with new delay no later 4/29. Need to confirm within 24 hours to avoid cancellation.
Maybe should have ordered from other website for a few $ more but actually get promt delivery . Let's see if the TV will arrive or if another delay will be posted until the TV price will drop in the market place.....
