I saved myself the agony at Home Depot/Lowes.Sales person explained to me in detail how to clean my dishes the best way. They even included some dishwasher salt/rinse aid as an extra so that I have an opportunity to try it out. "This is "white glove" service. The team that delivered my refrigerator was amazing. They were efficient and professional. No box; no packaging, no dings to the refrigerator or the walls. They also switched the doors.
Where they really stood out was with the haul away of the big old dingy clunker. They were patient (and even helped) as my 89-year old dad and I removed a rail that was obstructing removal.
And the big "WOW!" was that all of this was accomplished, quickly, cheerfully, and to and from the TOP floor of a Brooklyn brownstone.
The schedulers and phone support were great too. Kudos and thanks."

"Fridge on one of the orders was supposed to be delivered on 1-3-12. I traveled 1 ½ hours (each way) and spent $24 on round trip train and bus only to find out the driver “left” the fridge on the platform in the warehouse and it would only be delivered on the 5th."
"Bought a stove from the website. My credit card was charged, but then came an email saying the item was backordered. Long story short, the item was never deliverd, my order was 'cancelled' but I was never credited for the charge. Over the course of two months, I made numerous emails and phone calls where I was promised the issue would be looked at 'immediately.' Ultimately they never credited my card, and I had to get the credit through my credit card company. I think they price the stove at a loss hoping to bait and switch you, knowing full well they will never deliver it. I was also continually told the item was out of stock, but it was always in stock at evvive.com, their partner company, but for $200 more..."
"Absolutely the best experience I have ever had purchasing appliances. I was worried about shipping, etc. since it was only a couple of week after hurricane Sandy, but Designer Appliances had the best price by far ($1000 better than Home Depot) and they shipped the appliances the next day. They arrived in perfect condition and when I discovered that a filter shipped with the order was the incorrect one, just one phone call got the filter issue corrected cheerfully.
